My daughter was heading to college and we needed to ship a car. I contacted four places and I spoke to a guy on the phone from Stateway Auto Transport. He was great, very informative and was the only one who actually called and talked to me. The other ones sent me a quote quickly via email with no actual personal contact.

Stateway, and the trucker that they selected to move a car from Florida to Pennsylvania, failed miserably. Stateway agreed to refund the $245 deposit I paid, but never actually completed the transaction. I am forced to resort to legal action to get a refund. There are competent auto transport companies out there, Stateway is not one of them. Do your research and be careful. It is unfortunate that I cannot give them zero stars.

I used Stateway Auto Transport, to transport my car from Chicago to Phoenix. Ken was the coordinator. He called me immediately and helped me with the options i have. He also gave me suggestions to ensure i select the right carrier. Andrew was transporting my car. again he was also very friendly and was supportive. I dropped the car to near his truck and he gave me ride back home. He also ensured the car was delivered in Phoenix one day before the estimated date which was very helpful for me. Overall very satisfied with Stateway Auto Transport and i strongly recommend them for long transport.

I had a very bad experience dealing with another company and Ken was understanding, kind and reassuring. I felt more comfortable and relaxed using them because he was confident the job would be completed to my satisfaction. He communicated very well and kept me updated. A carrier was assigned the same day I called, and the car was picked up within the week . I would recommend Stateway Auto Transport to anyone wanting a hassle-free experience!

My car was delivered to me in northern California from Virginia in 5 days flat (order placement to door delivery)! I placed my order after a lot of research online and am glad with the outcome. I read elsewhere (online) that Stateway does transportation for a lot of auto dealers, so I decided to place my faith in them. Their quote was slightly higher (by ~$200) over other competitors, but worth that extra money in my opinion. My car was on a single truck/single driver end to end, and came out scratch free. My family relocated from San Diego to Illinois recently. With so many moving parts with a cross country move we figured shipping our vehicles would be the smoothest part. We placed a reservation with Ken 2 weeks prior to leaving California. To our surprise, we got a call from Stateway the same day we reserved with confirmation that a driver was assigned and all their information. The driver Niko was polite, on time, and stayed in contact. Our vehicles arrived two days later than originally planned. However, we were kept updated by Stateway's excellent customer service along with the driver.

Stateway is amazing!!! I shipped my Toyota from Portland,ME to Bismark, ND. The sales agent David did advise me this is a tough route but we have gotten it done before and we will get your car shipped. They advised there would be a deposit charged to my card after a driver assigned to my order. This was amazing because other companies wanted to charge me before I even had a driver assigned. David advised that we have great customer service reps that handle getting these orders assigned to a driver, and that Kate or Mary would be in touch once we had the driver assigned. This was my first time shipping a vehicle, the representative Eric, was not pushy, and very informative unlike the 20 other brokers that would not stop calling me. Stateway's price was a bit higher than the competitor's, but Eric explained that you get what you pay for in this industry and I couldn't ask for better service. My Honda was shipped on time and the driver was very courteous. I would absolutely recommend Stateway to anyone looking to ship, these guys know what they're doing and they were always available to answer any of my questions.
