Ankle & Foot Clinic Of Everett
Ankle Sprain is the most common type of ankle injury. It usually involves an inversion twist of the foot that injures the outer ligaments of the ankle. Bunions are misaligned big toe joints that can become swollen and tender, causing the first joint of the big toe to slant outward, and the second joint to angle toward the other toes.

Plantar fasciitis (or heel pain) is commonly traced to an inflammation on the bottom of the foot. Our practice can evaluate arch pain, and may prescribe customized shoe inserts called orthoses to help alleviate the pain. Ankle Replacement preserves motion at the ankle and allows improved function.

Ankle & Foot Clinic of Everett started in 1988 in a small 1,000 sq ft office on Colby Avenue in Everett with Dr. Jeffrey Christensen as the sole provider. In 1989, he moved the clinic to 4027 Hoyt Ave in Everett, but the 2,500 sq ft office needed another physician to accommodate a growing practice.
Your ankle plays a vital role in enabling your mobility. If you've suffered an ankle injury, chances are that arthritis can set in, which will eventually cause even more problems. If you're at this point - end-stage ankle arthritis - then you're at a point where you need to consider ankle replacement surgery.
Talk to us about what kind of medications you take so we can determine whether you need to stop taking them before surgery. Also, be sure to try to quit smoking before your procedure. Tell us about any changes in your health before the procedure. You may also want to prepare different living arrangements for yourself, as you will be using crutches for several weeks after the surgery.
Your first visit to our clinic establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During this visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. You'll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our clinic, clinic hours, payment policies and more.

I had been here years ago and saw Dr Johnson. So when I needed more help I stopped in to see if I could get my ingrown toenails dealt with. I was told Dr Johnson was no longer there OK. But then that no one there would see me and I had to go elsewhere. Unlike most of these reviews I did not find the front desk helpful or friendly. I was standing there for at least twenty minutes with no one behind the desk. Then when a woman did come out she made me feel as if I was an inconvenience. And she told me I had to elsewhere to be seen. Not what I expected

The clinic has the nicest front desk staff and nursing staff, cheerful and friendly. I've been seeing Dr Smith for some time. He is the most excellent doctor. He will be missed as he moves on to another chapter in his career. I am confident that all the doctors there will be of great character and skill as well

My first impression coming here was that all staff (front/assistant/dr) were all very friendly. All took the time to be friendly, helpful, and answer any questions or concerns. This was one of the only Dr’s visits I’ve had where I truly did not feel like I was being rushed through so they could get to the next patient. I felt they were there to help make sure I received the correct care for my foot.

After having foot pain that was affecting my day to day for 8 weeks I finally broken down and visited Ankle & Foot of Everett. It was a great decision. I found Dr. Jarrod Smith to be personable, knowledgable, and understanding. He was able to help me on the spot, and gave me a lot of great information. I walked out pain free thanks to his help. The entire staff and everyone I interacted with was friendly and courteous the entire time. Everyone took COVID precautions seriously so I felt safe. I highly recommend this practice, and Dr. Smith, and I will definitely be back for any future foot and ankle

I was originally referred to the A & F Clinic by my Physical Therapist. My original Podiatrist at A&F Clinic moved. I recently saw Dr. Bowlby. She was very attentive and answered all my questions. I have also seen Dr Christensen, he also spent a great deal of time with my Husband and I, making sure we both understood all aspects of the STAR surgery. I have referred several people to the A & F Clinic.

I went to see Dr. Christensen about 17 months ago and my first opinion after meeting him, was to find him very knowledgeable. He was very attentive and what I liked was he made time to listen and understand a patient. He built my confidence for me to return to and so far he has done three surgeries on my ankle. His office and staff are very professional and after they get to know the patient, they make us part of the Ankle and Foot Clinic family. I put my trust in Dr. Christensen and he is proving to be an excellent and outstanding doctor, for care, concern and my well being. He has given and showed
