Services
My practice of psychiatry is traditional, in that I spend a considerable amount of time early in the evaluation phase to learn about you and understand what difficulties you may be experiencing. After the initial appointment, I may recommend further sessions to solidify a diagnosis and develop an impression or formulation.
If either you or your child are on medication and in need of a refill, the appropriate place to discuss this is during a face-to-face appointment with Dr. Abenojar. This is important to monitor for any side effects as well as benefits, assessing the continued need for medication and adjusting the dose appropriately.
