The mission of Healing Pathways Medical Clinic is to provide comprehensive, state of the art evidence based mental health and psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults with an emphasis on Exceptional Children Services and those children and adults with developmental disabilities suffering from a mental health condition.
Our services include a thorough evaluation, medication management, and client education. Our belief is that the client benefits most by following the psychiatric evaluation with a dynamic and in-depth plan of action, which is focused on the overall emotional and physical health of the client. This treatment plan can include medication for the diagnosis and short-term or long-term counseling or psychotherapy.
The mission of the Educational Psychologist team is to provide evidenced based, "best practice" in our service delivery while enhancing access to community based mental health services thus removing the barriers between education and health services agencies.

Dr. Paul Copeland has passion and drive to provide the best care possible, a trait imparted on him by his mother from a young age. He is a father and family man - his children describe him as "very normal for a psychiatrist" - and seeks to treat each and every patient as one of his own, and patterns his care around the strengths of each individual patient.
Can Dr. Copeland do an evaluation that is comprehensive that will help me understand myself or my child and will this also be a medical evaluation?. Once I am an established patient, if I think I need to be seen sooner than my next scheduled appt, is this possible?. If Dr Copeland prescribes medication do I need to worry about running out of medication before my next appointment?.
