Falcon Ridge Ranch
Falcon Ridge Ranch is a licensed Residential Treatment Center dedicated to healing families with daughters, ages 12-17, who struggle with mental, emotional, and behavioral issues, usually stemming from trauma. At Falcon Ridge Ranch, we witness hope restored, emotional wounds healed, and young girls reclaiming what was lost.

We are a safe place for young women to heal and for families to reunite. At Falcon Ridge Ranch, your daughter will receive the best, continuous support and supervision twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Falcon Ridge Ranch accepts young women who exhibit emotional and/or behavioral problems that prevent them from functioning at their fullest potential in their home or community.
Services
At Falcon Ridge Ranch, we employ highly qualified, experienced, and professional individuals who also serve as mentors. Our Equine Team are experienced horsemen and women certified to facilitate Equine Therapy. Our Academic Team is highly effective in giving individual attention and instruction to each girl.
The Falcon Ridge Campus is located on 18-acres of majestic beauty, serenity, and wonder near the entrance to Zion National Park. For the girls, and even those of us who live here, it is truly a magical place created by nature - something we never get tired of. We offer hope, healing, and restoration through a unique blend of professional therapeutic services, academic instruction, and equine therapy.
As you arrive, you will see Falcon Ridge Ranch nestled among the ancient cottonwood trees in the Virgin River Valley - the entrance to Zion National Park. The views are majestic and inspirational no matter which way you look.

The morning sun crests over the thousand-foot red sandstone cliffs of Zion in the east, and sets over the Pine Valley Mountains in the west - each setting sun showing spectacular colors of red, orange, and blue until the darkness overtakes the skies above. The stars are brilliant and unpolluted by city lights, and the sounds of crickets, frogs, and coyotes fill the air with an enchanting song throughout the still night.
We love, respect, and cherish our horses. Our horses are part of the family. Each has its own personality that connects with the needs of each girl. Each girl forms a bond with her horse that enables them to experience healthy relationships based on trust and respect.

A tour of Falcon Ridge Ranch wouldn't be complete without meeting our horses, so we invite you to meet these magnificent animals that will truly become a trusted companion to your daughter.
At Falcon Ridge Ranch, our goal is to do our best to help teens recover and heal, with the ultimate goal of seeing families reunited and restored. To this end, we sincerely do our best to care for your daughter while she is entrusted into our care - and help you reconnect with your child as new skills are mastered.

It was so bad. Please don’t send your kids here. All the staff, which had decent people (bad program), all left and the program and rules are horrible. Straight up traumatic

My daughter attended Rehabilitation at Falcons n Ridge and was there for 6 months. Being a horse person and knowing the benefits of equine therapy, I enrolled her there. In 6months time, she wasn’t to to have any time with the horses. My daughter had neurological issues from birth. They drugged her without my permission and was extremely punitive dealing with her. I would not ever suggest anyone sending there child to this place. There is more, I could go on. I should have sued them with what they did to my daughter.

I went there thinking that i would have more freedom than i actually did... i personally feel as if only some of the staff actually care.. you have to wear a uniform that is not comfortable, and you have to wait an hour after all meals to use the bathroom.. you go everywhere as a group and you cannot spend a lot of time alone because they will think you are isolating and or planning to do somthing sus.. their watches are very serious too.

I learned so much although I couldn't see it then and I was a terrible kid I wish I could go back and thank every single one of the people who were there. They are too good for this world especially after dealing with us kids.

I was the 3rd graduate of the Positive Peer Culture program in 2004. This place changed my life for the better and so thankful for the excellent support team they provided me with. I am still in contact with many of the staff and fellow students. I hope to be able to visit the ranch in the next few months with my own family and share with them the great things that happened at FFR.

Speaking from experience being there, they brainwashed me. Made me believe I was in the wrong. NEVER let me talk to my family. Made me think I deserved to have everything thats happened to me, happen to me. Made me feel believe that I was unloved, unwanted, and unloveable by my own family. NEVER SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!!!

Falcon Ridge was an interesting experience. I give it three stars. I was in Falcon for 19 months of my life and it was a whirlwind. The medical staff is not the best. I had two kidney stones when I was there and I was not taken to the doctor nor taken seriously for about two weeks and when I was laying in fetal position on the floor bawling my eyes out, they finally decided to take me to the doctor. The food is terrible most of the time. I personally am not a vegetarian but lord I would hate to be at this place. All the food for vegetarians was microwaved patties of grossness. :/ I was continuously

I would highly recommend never sending your child here!!! They gave my daughter a drug that caused her to become ill. It was approximately one week before they got her appropriate medical care. She was placed in the hospital and in I.C.U., It could have cost my child her life!!! They are terrible in communication. The staff directory seems to be wrong and they do not allow children to call home outside of family therapy (15minutes) once per week.
