This company doesn't even deserve one star. After booking a beach house in July of this year and signing a contract, i got a call saying they were cancelling our reservation. When i asked why, Sandy said the price was wrong. They had not updated the pricing for this year. What??? She went on to quote a section in the rental contract saying they could do this if they wanted to up the price.
This is a totally dishonest company. Please don't do business with Destin Getaways.

We have had the BEST experiences at Destin Getaways!! My family and I have been working with Elizabeth for almost four years now! Such attention to detail! Such exemplary customer service! Such concern to every need or wish! Homes are clean and well-kept! What I enjoy most is the level of customer service that each guest is awarded. Always available day or night! We stayed with Destin Getaways and were very pleased. The home we rented was super clean and the views were splendid! We had one little issue in a bathroom and their respose was quick and the maintenance person a total gentleman! The problem was solved within an hour of reporting it.... we enjoyed our stay and will use Destin Getaways over and over again!

We booked unit 1008 in The Tides at Tops'l Resort in early October of this year. When we arrived, the unit was as advertised - clean, spacious and the views were amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Elizabeth as the check in and check out experience was seamless. In fact, we will do the same vacation next year and I plan on using Destin Getaways again. Fisherman’s Wharf ( Stay Dates: Sept 3rd- 8th): This vacation was supposed to be me and my wife’s stress relief from our everyday lives. We planned and booked this vacation in January 2021, unfortunately it turned out horribly. We booked Fisherman's Wharf which online seems to be a very nice place. First off, my wife’s a nurse so if anyone needs a vacation it’s definitely her, and I work in the IT industry so we both needed a getaway. Absolutely LOVED this vacation. The white sandy beaches were breath taking. The balcony overlooking the ocean; sunset and sunrise views... was priceless.
Accomodations were nice. Clean. It had all the appliances and dishes we needed to cook and eat at home. Washer and dryer included. No BBQ grill, but that wouldn't have been safe on a condo balcony anyway. Cute beach themed condo. (Don't come expecting 5 star accomodations... that's not what you're looking at here)
A bit spendy, but we booked at the last minute, so that's to be expected.
We will definitely be doing it again... With all the grandkids

I do not recommend booking a place that Destin Getaway’s manages. We booked a vacation back in January and we’re returned our money 11 days before our vacation was supposed to be in August that it was canceled. The only way I found out was going through the Airbnb app to see that my reservation has been canceled. No one called to let me know and after doing research I found out the condo we had already paid for had been sold. Destin getaways did not call me to tell me that this it happened or try to find another place for us. Now that it’s a week before vacation prices have skyrocketed and

My recent stay at Aerial Dunes via Destin Getaways was somewhat of a disappointment to me. The condo was in need of some minor repairs but overall it was at least clean. The manager was very unprofessional and very rude. I had called on my arrival because two of the fluorescent lights in the kitchen were out. The manager kept cutting me off telling me of different switches I need to click in order for the lights to work. When I was finally able to get a word in, she learned there was only ONE switch which maintenance confirmed when they arrived. My second contact with her was regarding my departure

We love Destin and Destin Getaways made it so much better!! We stayed in Lee's Retreat in Destiny East. The house was beautiful and the rental agency was so easy to get ahold of , super nice and helpful. The only thing I recommend changing is the heated pool, maybe add that into the rental price during the cooler months. The pool was beautiful, well-maintained and heated for a fee per day. We will definitely be staying again.

Horrible experience. We booked a condo thru vrbo in February to stay at destin getaway property. Got the confirmation, everything. 2 days later they sent email canceling my booking with no reason. Call vrbo they told me to call destin getaway directly because even though I booked on vrbo site it still went directly to destin getaway's. I already booked my airfares. Called them up, they said they had a "computer glitch " the price now is 3 times more than what I paid. Nothing they can do. Gave me 15% off, it was still thousand dollars more. Booked our stay thru Destin Getaways for July 2019 at Lee's retreat. The house itself was beautiful clean and spacious. The checkin went well. The grounds not so much. The fountain in the courtyard did not work. The pool was large but no lights as advertised for night swimming. The hot tub didn't work either. There were fire ants on the patio where you sit. The pool caretaker only comes twice a week. We were originally told there was private beach access and there would be a 6 seat golf cart. We did not have either one. We used Destin Getaways to book a home on Holiday Isle the first week of March. We were excited to use a local company to book and this was our first attempt at vacationing in a home rather than at a resort. Destin Getaways seemed they had their act together with the app and all the awesome perks they offer for activities in the area.
