Services
Morris and Associates has always taken pride in employing the latest technology to deliver quality services for our clients. To assist states, counties, and municipalities in their right of way acquisition process; M+A leverages recent advancements in 3D laser scanning and drone surveying to offer state-of-the-art, proven solutions showing very high levels of detail for planning and estimating.
Morris + Associates aided in the design of a facility for CenterPoint Energy to receive, store, and distribute two classifications of dielectric oil used in transformers, capacitors, insulators, circuit breakers, and switches.

The project scope included 3 - 20,000 gallon double-wall above ground storage tanks, piping, manifolds, loading/unloading pumps, leak detection, loading racks, spill containment and monitoring, custom PLC controls, alarm systems and security systems.Morris provided schematic design, design documents, and construction administration for the project.
This project involved the design and engineering of a new fuel system for Lamar Consolidated ISD's bus fleet, white fleet, and police department vehicles. The facility has (2) 15,000-gallon diesel above ground storage tanks (ASTs) and (1) 10,000 gallon regular unleaded AST. The project involved the demolition of the old fuel dispensers, canopy, and underground storage tanks that were outdated and under-performing.
This project involved the major renovation of a 20,000 SF troop store into a LEED-certifiable 30,000 SF mini-mall with a food court including seven concepts, a liquor store, a convenience store, a barber shop, a GNC retail space and a military clothing store. An extensive phasing plan to keep the facility operational as much as possible during construction was developed.

I'll never forget going there for my interview on a Friday morning and after talking with Bill Morris he asked me to show him what I knew on CAD so we went to the computer and I drew things for him and he hired me and I asked when do I start. He said. "" take lunch and come back "". Thank you Bill , from that point forward after they had a layoff, I went to different
