Actually this is a very good place to visit and to eat. The owner is very down-to-earth and friendly. The "horror" stories listed about the wedding a couple of years ago is false. The people were asking for things far and above what they were paying for, so they decided to smear the Castle with lies. If they had asked for something instead of demanding, they probably would have gotten what they wanted, but as others in the area stated, this area was looked at being hicks and the city folks thought they could just come in and take over

We had our wedding reception at Castle Rogue's Manor, and everyone was blown away by the venue! Smith designed and built the castle, and was great to work with from the very beginning. We enjoyed his hospitality very much. The views of the White River are stunning, even from the inside. There are also lots of amazing views outside. The castle is full of character! We had the venue provide catering for our guests, which was a very nice and tasty Italian dinner. We would recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and lively venue for a wedding ceremony/reception or corporate event! Thanks
