I called looking for an immediate appointment due to horrible pain in my arms from Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was in day 9 of a horrible pain flare and I couldn't take it anymore. Amy kindly fit me in between other clients and said she would see what she could do with me. We talked a ton while she had me hooked up to a current.
I have struggled with severe anxiety since I was little (diagnosed at age 6) and as I have gotten older, the mental struggles present physically in my body, with most of the common manifestations in my body being stomach aches, headaches, fatigue, flu-like symptoms. I have had a hard time finding holistic ways to reduce it.
One key part of your health is your connection to your community. And one way to connect with your community is to get involved and give back. Each month, we feature different ways members of the Northshore Acupuncture Center community are rolling up their sleeves and giving back. This month, we are featuring Jane's involvement with the Friends of the Evanston Farmers Markets.

I want to thank Dr Amy so much for today's session.
I have been working and moving all afternoon until now, in a way I was not able yesterday and for several weeks.
I feel I have a lot of energy.
THANK YOU

I called looking for an immediate appointment due to horrible pain in my arms from Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was in day 9 of a horrible pain flare and I couldn’t take it anymore.
Amy kindly fit me in between other clients and said she would see what she could do with me.
We talked a ton while she had me hooked up to a current. She gently reminded me of the things I need to do to avoid flares, like avoiding excess coffee, gluten... all things I’m struggling to manage.
When we started the acupuncture, Amy described what she was doing and why. I learned some new things.

"I was experiencing sciatica issues. I was having trouble controlling the pain, walking, etc. I had tried most OTC remedies with no luck. I did not want to be given medication if I could avoid it. After two acupuncture treatments, I have no sciatica pain at all.
Amy has a very calming effect about her. Having never tried acupuncture before, she put me at ease immediately.
I was very surprised that it only took two treatments for relief. I have returned for other aches and pains, but not for sciatica - the back still feels great. I have recommended Amy to friends and family and will continue to

I hadn't been able fall asleep or get a full night's sleep for several months, and it was impacting my health, my work and my overall sanity. I had tried several different sleep medications and found myself in a state of brain fog all the time. My chiropractor referred me to Amy Landolt to help me with my sleep issues. I wanted to try acupuncture since it was a more natural treatment that wouldn't make me feel like a zombie.
After my first treatment, I was able to fall asleep and had a full night of sleep. After 4 treatments, I'm consistently able to fall asleep and stay asleep.
Amy is so easy

I was having acute pain in my scapula for 8 months. It would flare up and be burning, stabbing, and tingling. Two rounds of physical therapy helped with strength but did not mitigate the pain. After a few treatments, the pain started to subside and is now gone! We are now working on my migraines, which are also starting to decrease in frequency. Amy is relaxed, knowledgeable, and really listens to every symptom and change in symptoms. She also tells you why she's doing what she's doing with your treatment. I would recommend her to anyone!

I hurt my knee going downstairs. It was stiffening up and interfering with walking and disrupting my sleep. I was feeling pain pretty much all the time. It was worse getting out of the bed in the morning. It would cramp up more and more every time I'd drive.
Amy put together a plan for me that included acupuncture, stretching, a Chinese herb called moxa, essential oils, and changes to how I put my foot on the gas pedal when I drive. I've seen a lot of improvement. I don't have much pain in that leg now.
I was surprised that acupuncture isn't painful. When you think about needles, you think "ouch

The thought of the needles were scary at first, but Amy had such a calmness and confidence that I jumped right in and allowed her to perform my first acupuncture. It didn't hurt and the experience was great. As she said, I had tons of energy the next day. I would definitely try it again. Thanks for a great after-care experience!

I had always wanted to try acupuncture but had a terrible fear of needles. Amy's calm and caring demeanor instantly put me at ease and now I can't imagine not seeing her once a month. In my opinion she is the best in all of Chicagoland!

I own a yoga studio that has had Amy featured a number of times as part of a restorative workshop with acupuncture. She has repeatedly filled the studio and kept all our mutual customers happy. Amy has also provided treatments to me personally that have been both beneficial and enjoyable.

I was in a car accident on Wednesday. Hit from behind, and Wednesday I was fine. Thursday my back started bothering me, and by Saturday I was not doing well at all. I also have a recurring knee problem which acts up every once in a while.
Amy was exactly what I needed.
I had a treatment this morning and I am feeling fantastic. The acupuncture and the cupping she did on my back have made me feel great. Her gentle touch, and her knowledge made me feel very comfortable with the procedures.
Amy was very open about what everything was for, and forwarded me if something might be uncomfortable, but
