I was promoted to Office Manager in 2017 and look forward to the challenges as we shape new programs in our office! I love to entertain and explore the new restaurants in the Chicago area. I saw Dr. Pullos to have a back molar removed that I had cracked beyond repair. Before we started, Dr. Pullos came into the room to introduce herself and to explain the procedure and see if I had any questions. I told her I was extremely anxious as I’m not a fan of pain! Dr. Pullos was so kind and I immediately felt like I could trust her in taking good care of me. As the procedure began, my anxiety increased tenfold and Dr. Pullos was beyond kind and an abundantly patient as she helped me work through my fears and made sure that I was completely numb. Dr. Pullos, Val and the rest of her team today were patient empathetic and understanding. The entire process was Covid safe and the practice is very clean. Every room has a state of the art air purification system as well. I had to pay out of pocket for the complicated extractions and anaesthesia but I was never charged or pressured into services I didn't need. I am so happy with this great team of specialists and will stay at the practice for the duration of my treatment/implants! Thanks so much for your professionalism and care!

Alright, this is the last review in my saga of my terrible toothache from this last weekend. I requested an appointment from my normal dentist in Lakeview on a Saturday. They did a great job and saw me first thing Monday. They couldn't diagnose it exactly (though did ultimately get it right) and sent me on to a specialist for a more detailed scan. They, in turn, referred me to Armitage for the extraction and implant prep after confirming the diagnosis.

I can't say enough good things about Armitage Oral Surgery. I had to have a tooth extraction and was terrified after some very bad prior dental experiences. Dr. Katabi"s patience and bedside manner were outstanding and the procedure was surprisingly quick and nearly painless. In addition the staff is professional, knowledgeable and very responsive. I almost never write reviews but I am so thankful I was referred here I had to post so others will know they are in good hands if they come here.

I have spent the last 2 weeks calling to change/reschedule an appointment & each time I have been sent to their answering service and told to call back during business hours (each call has been during their business hours). There is no way to leave a voicemail, no one calls back, and they don't answer the phone to begin with. Horrible communication and lack of support. Very frustrating

Just got a letter (an actual physical letter mailed to me) in response to my review.
This is my summary of the letter's content:
"Sorry you had a negative experience. Thanks for your feedback.
But you're wrong:
We did the procedure perfectly. We can fix whatever you did to yourself. You can make an appointment for an evaluation.
And we don't know what you're talking about in regards to scheduling/prescription/communication issues.
Sorry you're upset."

I had a wonderful experience at Armitage Oral Surgery. Dr. Pullos was amazing, she explained the treatment process in great detail both during the consult and minutes prior to the actual surgery. I had been putting off completing my wisdom teeth ext's because I was scared due to them being impacted but I don't think I could have been in better hands. Big plus, I had a wonderful nap after the surgery!

Big thank you to armitage oral surgery for making my wisdom teeth extraction quick & easy. The office staff was welcoming & had all my paperwork pulled up already when I came in. Dr. Pollus was amazing and really eased my nerves talking me through what will happen in the procedure & some post op information. Also, big thanks to Tammy who was so nice and kept checking on me before & after the procedure. (I loved her pink gloves too!) She definitely shows true care for her patients. Thankfully, I only had 2 wisdom teeth develop so I don’t predict needing to go to oral surgery often, but definitely

I was really nervous before my procedure and Tammy and Anahà did a great job at calming me down!! After my procedure Angela offered me a blanket because she saw that I was really cold and answered all the questions I had. Diana also checked up on me and gave me some Advil because I was still feeling a little bit of pain after Dr Katabi had numbed me up some more. Tammy was kind enough to feed me some pudding right there that way the Advil wouldn't upset my stomach. 10/10 would recommend this place again!!!

I am terrified of dental procedures and was literally dreading my tooth extraction for weeks! However I had a great experience! Dr. Katabi was amazing! He explained everything that was going to happen before it happened, and then he talked me through the shots. Before I knew it, my tooth was out! It took about 3 minutes it seemed. Very pleased.

During extraction the surgeon has hit my other tooth that I had a crown on and got it loose. Told me that when I go to my regular dentist to have it re-attached. Well turns out that it was more serious that just placing the crown back on the implant, had to get a new crown. Few months later I received a statement saying I still owe them $90 and an email, when I replied email I asked who will pay for the damage that was caused to my other tooth but no reply. Today I received a collection notice from a collection agency. What business do you run?

I had 4 wisdom teeth pull in 2017 by Dr. Katabi excellent surgeon and funny too. No pain at all I was shocked.
This past MLK day Jan 20 2020 I had to have an emergency cracked tooth extraction by Dr. Smyth I also had an infection from the tooth draining into my jawbone. Excellent service after three days the swelling in my neck has receded. I feel like a new person already. The excruciating pain is gone - just the normal healing process.

First, Dr Katabi was great. Very professional and got things done pretty quickly. However, I have little faith in the office as a whole. To prepare for my last surgery I was told I needed a CT and that my insurance wouldn't cover it since I've already had one done recently for my braces. They were informed that my orthodontist has my most recent CT. The doctor advised admin to request the CT be sent from my ortho before my scheduled surgery.
