Dr. Donna M. Barber is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago where she taught as an Associate Professor of Periodontics for more than 10 years.
Since the late 1980's, Dr. Barber has been an active member of The American Association of Periodontists, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Illinois Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society, as well as The National Association of Professional Women.

Dr. Wei Ting Ho is a graduate of Ohio State University where he received his M.S. and Certificate in Periodontology. He is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and he also maintains active membership in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr Thomas F. Schneider DDS graduated from University of Illinois Dental School in 1986 and from Loyola University Post Graduate Periodontics Program in 1988. He practices in his own office at 4949 W. Irving Park Road and with us at Loop Periodontics as a part-time associate. Dr Schneider taught at Loyola's College of Dentistry from 1987-1993 and the University of Illinois College of Dentistry part-time from 1993-present.
Replacing your missing teeth with dental implants and implant-retained teeth may allow you to live your life more fully. Look: no one wants to have a gum graft procedure, but if you need it, you want to go to Dr. Ho. I am SO glad my dentist recommended Dr. Ho and his team. Dr. Ho was friendly, kind, thorough, and answered all of my questions about the procedure/healing. I was pretty nervous about the graft, and Dr. Ho put me at ease. His staff and the front office team (shout out to Peter, who literally could not be nicer or more helpful) are welcoming and fantastic. They are super prompt in processing claim paperwork, which I definitely appreciated. (They are out of network for me, but they provide lots of details

I had a painful infection in my mouth, due to an implant done by another dentist. My wife has used Dr Barber before , so we went to her office , I had no appointment , Doctor squeezed me in, relieved my pain .She had great empathy for me and the pain, made sure i was feeling better before I left. When I got the Bill ,I asked if this amount was my deductible, no she said the whole bill. I have seen many dentists over the years, this lady has compassion, qualified and is reasonably pricing her time . I also got a $50.00 referral credit as i was anew client and was refereed. Try and get it by saying

All I can say is WOW! Dr. Barber is the BEST! She is definitely the most patient and kind dentist I’ve ever been to. She has a lovely personality, and can make even the most nervous patients feel at ease. She even called after a surgery to see how I was feeling. She truly worked her magic and I am glad to say that I’ll never go to anyone else unless she recommends them.

I was referred to Dr. Barber for gum surgery. She is very proficient. The work is outstanding. Anyone who may be afraid of going to a periodontist will have a good experience.

Dr. Barber is by far the best periodontist I've been to! If you are looking for a great specialist in Chicago (or even nearby) who does an excellent job look no further, you found her! She is a true finding (especially for Chicago!) and it's a pity she only does periodontics. I highly recommend her to everyone.

I recently had a gum graft done by Dr. Barber and was extremely nervous to have the procedure done. The whole staff was inviting and made me feel right at ease. Dr. Barber was extremely personable and sensitive to the fact that I was nervous.
I have to honestly say that I had no reason to be nervous. They really know exactly what they are doing and how to do it so the patient is pain free. The procedure was done quickly and it has healed faster than I expected after researching the typical healing timeframe.
I recommend them for any and all procedures after the experience I had.

Dr. Barber is arguably the best periodontist you will ever meet. You can trust she will design a treatment plan that is the best for your mouth and circumstances. She will explain everything and then again if necessary. When it comes to surgery, like the gum graft I just had, you will be amazed that something which sounds so icky really wasn't that bad in her hands. Dare I say she is an artist, from the first injection, to the narration of where you are in the process, to the final stitch. Five weeks post op - my gums look amazing! Seriously, amazing! I would say if you want a periodontal experience
