Charlene Burk assumed the role of President of CentraLand Title Company in September of 2017. Charlene has been with CentraLand over 20 years as Manager of the Policy Department, Commercial Closer/Escrow Officer and Escrow Department Manager. A Belton native, Charlene is a graduate of Baylor University and a certified real estate paralegal.

Not responsive, unprofessional, and acted like we were a burden. This was my first time buying a home and they made the process unbearable. I almost had to push my closing a week because they kept sending the wrong paperwork to my lender the day of closing. Then blamed my lender. When we finally did close, there was no congratulations, no pictures, nothing. They were more than happy to throw us out so they could go home. Then after that, the seller refused to release the keys to us because they never communicated that the funds were released. I had to call and threaten to call the real estate commission

I was not a client of Centraland Title Co. and had never done any type of business with them, however, I had an out of state closing issue arise that had to be addressed immediately, here in TX. I was not pleased with the services they provided thus far in the mere 2 weeks we were under Title with them. My client is a first time home buyer and unfortunatly they did not have an office that was close to her and offered to simply mail out the documents. I explained that would not work as she was a first time buyer. They had no other option. The Escrow Officer failed to explain that since they are not in the same county they had to transfer the file to a title company in the area and then once that other firm completed all docs they would send it back to Centraland.
