Rich and I had visited Echo Hill each Fall since we began dating in 1987. Rich had always had a childhood dream of owning his own farm. One day on a drive home from our small town grocery store Rich saw an opportunity to pursue that dream when he drove past Echo Hill and saw a large sign advertising the farm for sale for commercial development.
Although it had been for sale at least 5 years by then, it was the first Rich had known of it being offered for sale. Rich's interest in this particular farm piqued during a visit to Echo Hill one warm, Fall afternoon to pick our own apples, along with our young daughters, Samantha and Ashley. He asked us, "Wouldn't you just love to own this place?".

Updated for 10/15/21 We have 87 acres of fruit trees, although some trees are picked out our apple crop is still abundant at this time! Macintosh, Cortland, Macoun, Nova Spy, Querina, Enterprise, Wine Crisp, Empires, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious are all available today. We think we will be able to offer PYO apples through October.
Blue Raspberries & Apples Wine, Monson Apple Vodka, Pineapple juice, mango juice, white cran juice, and sprite with a black sugar rim! Our Monson Bourbon Whiskey, black walnut bitters, simple syrup, maraschino cherry, and a splash of apple cider, on the rocks! We do not offer or allow any private events, no outside food/drink to be brought in or onto our property or professional photography at this time.
This list is all of the wine/liquor we make on site available for sale in our store. A letter "T" is placed next to those that are offered in our tasting flight, you will see a handful are not offered as an option in our flights because they may be seasonal and for bottling reasons. Our Merlot blended with honey, cider, brown sugar, cloves, cinnamon sticks, oranges, raisins, and brandy.
We do not allow any type of pet (dogs, cats, ferrets, etc.) on our premises or in our building, leashed or unleashed. Though we love them as well as our own dog, we need to consider all of our guests and our insurance does not permit any pets. Yes! Awesome place. All around. The only critique I have is the wine tasting. Room temperature wine is the best way to really taste it especially reds imo. Unless it's dessert wine. I'll go back a hundred times now that I've found this location. I'll just call an Uber and enjoy a shelf bottle next time with the wife. ✌️✌️

9.25.21 our 1st visit here and we loved it because the parking lot is big, the shopping area is spacious, the tasting room purchase area was well marked, and most importantly there's lots of outdoor seating. The Mac moonshine was fabulous as were the mixed drinks. We didn't find a wine favorite but enjoyed all the flights. They also had a food truck on the premises etc. Beautiful place for a date or a gathering with friends.

The moonshine was really good, loved the Macintosh and peach pie moonshines. The Macintosh, Cortland, and macoun some trees were heavy laden with fruit for picking. We didn't get any sunflowers, but the first field still had plenty to choose from, and the staff were all very friendly! Oh, and yummy some cider slush and donuts.

Such an awesome little Hometown Treasure.. This place has really changed a lot since I was a kid!! You can tell the family who owns it really put their all into it.. Looks Amazing.
