Worker's Compensation Law is a complicated collection of statues, regulations, and case-law which is evolving all the time. Immediately, after you are injured, you have rights and responsibilities which you need to understand so that you can obtain the benefits to which you are entitled. Some issues which will come up include: reporting the injury, your right to a physician of your choice, how your compensation rate is calculated & obtaining reimbursement for travel expenses.

For more than 30 years, I have successfully represented injured persons in insurance claims, lawsuits and workers compensation claims.
Workers Compensation cases include issues involving TTD (Temporary Total Disability), TPD (Temporary Partial Disability), PTD (Permanent Total Disability), PPI (Permanent Partial Impairment Ratings), Medical Benefits, SIME (Second Independent Medical Evaluations), Travel Benefits, Compensation Rates, Penalties, Interest, Unfair and Frivolous Controversions.

There are two typical cases that I see in Workers Compensation: The first is when the Employer refuses to fill out or file a Report of Injury because he wants to avoid increased insurance premiums or an OSHA investigation. The second is when a treating physician recommends surgery and the insurance company doesn't want to pay for it.

Keenan has been my attorney for over 14 months. My Workman's Comp case is very complicated and involved five surgeries over a one year period. The insurance company was very aggressive in eventually ending my Workman's Comp care and benefits, even though the four separate doctors who were providing medical services all were in agreement that I needed further medical care. Keenan was extremely professional in her communications with me; always keeping me updated and informed as to my case status and her plans to successfully represent me and get me ALL the disability care and benefits she believed

Rude, insulting, wasted almost a year of my time after i had to collect every doctor record from numerous dr.'s over a period of 4 yrs. 6 weeks away from the statue of limitations on my workers comp claim she decides she's not even going to take my case. I guess I'm going to loose $17,000 because she doesn't want to take the case. I have never worked with a lawyer who makes YOU do all her paralegal work for her! I highly wouldn't recommend her!

Worse rudest Lady I ever met. She was hateful, sour, and ruse to my parents. She didn't explain garbage and then complained about doing free consultations- my mom even offered to pay her for her time, but she declined. Didn't introduce herself or even ask who we was. She really needs to take some social classes to learn how to do business with ppl.
