Using oral surgery to help sleep apnea seeks to remove the excess tissue in the throat that is vibrating and blocking the upper air passages. One surgical procedure is an uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP). This procedure involves removing the excess tissue from the upper mouth and throat. This procedure is performed in a hospital under general anesthesia.
Remove plaque build-up from the surfaces of teeth. Bacteria in the mouth form plaque, which collects on teeth and causes decay, gum disease, and gingivitis. Remove tartar from teeth surfaces. Tartar, or calculus, is plaque that has hardened on the teeth and its removal requires special procedures. Tartar below the gum line is an indicator of gum disease.
After dental implant surgery, it is recommended that you take at easy for 48-72 hours. Resting assists the healing process and limits after surgery bleeding. Drink plenty of fluids, but nothing too cold. You may need to apply an ice pack to your face in twenty-minute intervals for the 2 days following surgery.
Upper Hybrid Bridge - As the name suggests, an upper hybrid bridge is used to replace the teeth in the upper jaw. Any remaining teeth must be removed, and the jaw must be allowed to heal before we surgically place six dental implants. The number of implants needed can vary from patient to patient. A computer-generated surgical guide will help us plan the location of each dental implant.
Dr. Palani is a World Class Implantologist. He holds the title of an FICOI which stands for Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. This is given after completing ten successful Dental Implants that are still deemed successful after one year. Additionally, the dentist has to have completed over 75 hours of work performing the Dental Implant procedure.

Dr. Palani saw me in short notice as my molar was in severe pain from decay and nerve damage. He was able to extract my molar and another tooth that had been hurting in less than 15 minutes after being numbed up! His staff is very professional and very welcoming. I have to be honest, I never write reviews. But, I had such a tremendous experience with Dr. Palani's office (yes, the whole staff) that I had to say something to let others know.
