Clovis Urgent Care physicians and staff are trained to respond to patients' urgent care needs. We diagnose and treat most non-life threatening injuries and illnesses. For more serious problems, we provide initial evaluation and interventions, and arrange transportation to definitive care, when necessary.

In most cases, Clovis Urgent Care fees and co-pays are substantially lower than those charged by hospital Emergency Departments. Rude Billing department. I think they are fraud and claiming something to my insurance something that is not done and made double charges. I should only pay my co pay for urgent care and they are charging $506.they told me i need to Pay for deductible. My medical insurance told me everything should be covered and i only need to pay $20 copay. Do not go to this urgent care .

Update: went to pick up bill since it was not emailed. Can anyone guess what is wrong with the first picture except over charging? Remember I have to have 2500 dollar surgery elsewhere. They stated my hand was not broken when in fact it was, and they had told me I was clear to take off splint. The second bill shows how professional billing looks (description included), AND shows the extent of damage to my hand none of which Clovis urgent care indicated may be wrong, at the least they could have recommended was to see a hand surgeon. I used to love this place and even gave them a positive review at one point. Yesterday I took my son in for an illness with similar symptoms to COVID. I was told they would not treat him without first paying $200 out of pocket to test him. Or they vaguely stated I could test him otherwise and then return. So I did. I tested him at home this morning (negative) then returned for a second time to be treated. They again turned me away saying at-home tests were unacceptable, as there was no real proof. Do not come here for any reason. I came in with sinusitis and they kicked me out saying that I needed a negative Covid test before I could be seen. Everyone in my family was sick, but they all tested negative when they were sick a week before, and so did I. However, they could not see me unless I gave a negative test from within the last 48 hours, because I have "Covid symptoms" (of course they put generic and vague symptoms on the form like "feeling unwell" that could be literally anything).
So since they are requiring a negative test for every patient who is sick, they should be readily available

Had to go for a rapid test and waited 3 hours. Staff was rude. Don’t waste your time going here. I understand it’s an urgent care but why tell someone to be there at a certain time if you aren’t going to see them in a reasonable amount of time especially when you are going just for a rapid test. Won’t use them AGAIN!

I made an online appointment for this location and I arrived early. I wasn’t seen until quite some time after my appointment time, but that’s because the place was slammed by people who, I concluded, were there for COVID-related matters. Here’s the thing: one can’t expect an exact schedule at an urgent care facility because there is no way to forecast how many prospective patients will show up at any given time. Went online yesterday to make a covid test appointment for myself and my son. Yes it said Rapid Antigen test. Clicked on it did everything even submitted insurance and photo id. Even got a response was submitted. Called right as we were leaving. Was told very rudely by the girl on the phone tests are out until tomorrow.... And we don't make appointments online for covid testing....... False information all around!!!!! Will never give any service for future.

I would recommend this location, but some of the workers were not very friendly. For some reason three different people came out to the car before one of them finally gave my son his Covid Test. Two of them had that test and went back inside with no explanation. There was only one other car there at the time, so I am not sure what was going on?? Anyway, they called in 30 mins or so and it was negative, thankfully!

The night before I had call to see if this was certain location was doing rapid covid testing since it's just down the street from home. I was told that they were and that even without insurance it would be for free. FREE.. key word! Well, morning comes and we're there by 8:30am waiting for them to open up. Once they're open and we're checking in, we were then told that our insurance was not accepted and that it would be $190 out of pocket. Not only was I piss and irritated for waking up early and standing in the heat, but to be denied because someone told me the wrong information

I brought my daughter here for a hand injury and I was able to get in easily, the wait wasn’t bad at all, and all staff were very friendly and efficient. So with all that in mind—great experience!
However, while in the exam room, I was noticing how dirty everything was—there was a lot of dirt and grime caked into the corners of the room, the door jam/doorway was incredibly dirty, the walls also. This was my second trip to this urgent care and both times I was out in less than an hour. I've seen both the doctor and the physician assistant both are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and listen to me when I explained my symptoms. They were very accommodating in that they let me pay cash because I do not have insurance. They also sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy right after speaking with me and when I got to the pharmacy not only did they have my prescription but they were already filled. I highly recommend this urgent care if you are pressed for time or if you want to be treated

This has to be one of the most useless worthless and downright terrible medical urgent care services in the valley. When I went in there the lady at the desk didn't want to see me because I was willing to pay cash she said she could not legally or ethically see me which obviously Ridiculous. Ethically she couldn't see me but ethically she is willing to turn someone away who is injured and willing to pay cash makes no sense to me. Now I'm trying to get my medical records and they want to charge me $50 which I think is ridiculous I don't know if it's standard practice but

Don't believe the good reviews. This place is the plague. Unsanitary at its finest. They have Covid patients waiting in the waiting room. You wanna know why this virus is spreading? It's because of this place! Lol. I went in for a simple ear infection, and it turned into a crud show quick. The doctor didn't even spend time on me, he looked in my ear for 2 seconds and diagnosed me. Please save yourself and go elsewhere. I beg you. If you care for your family and health don't come here!

This place is fantastic! Masks worn by workers and required. I came here last Sunday and a very nice PA Ochana helped me. I have a nasty and painful "boil" on my back. No idea how it showed up or if that is what it is, but my mother tried to pop it and the pain was too much! I had to go in to get it fixed righr. The PA looked at it, gave me 7 days of antibiotics and she told me to go back in after the antibiotics are done to get it removed.
There I was 7 days later. The "boil" is still there. Sore and very red. It feels like a balloon that needs to be popped

If I could give this disgusting place a zero (0) I would but A review would do with the hope that people read this and think twice before coming to this place and endangering yourself from actually getting exposed if you go get tested... So I went today (12/16/2020) to obviously get tested to a possible exposure, as I waited in my car and I seen the Dr. walk up to about 4-5 different vehicles swab each one and not once change his gloves! He had all swabs in one had which to me means if someone was negative and another person was positive the fact that the other persons test results got contaminated

I don't mind paying for what's due, and in my case there was an insurance snafu when they didn't bother to mention that they were under new ownership and weren't yet contracted with my insurance. (There was no visible notice of this...even the signs on the building stayed the same. Kinda shady IMO.)
So, I worked with my insurance... got it paid as an exception, but the checks came to me. So, I get the invoice from Clovis Urgent Care
And then... you get the bill. This place is billed as an urgent care but they actually accept appointments-just not same day appointments. I am not really sure if the Dr sees some of his regular patients from past or current practices he has worked at. I know they do offer some physicals for employment/work/school & vaccinations as well as basic health screenings but I just think it's a bit odd to see a stream of older ladies with appointments coming in to an urgent care on a Sunday.

You don't know how your good your health insurance is until you need it. On my birthday I was in agonizing pain and I called all the Urgent Cares on my insurance list including Clovis Medical Urgent Care. I was turned away via phone due to them not accepting my insurance.
