Dr. Smola grew up in the city of Eastpointe, Michigan. With an interest in the health field he pursued his degree in biomedical sciences at Grand Valley State University. While being home and watching his diabetic father come off several medications due to chiropractic care, Dr. Smola decided that he wanted to heal others the way his father was healed, from the inside out.
As a doctor of chiropractic, Dr. Smola believes that healthier spines = healthier people. Dr. Smola loves to spend his free time reading sci-fi books, working out, and spending time with his wife and two kids! As Dr. Smola's wife, Jaimie has had the wonderful opportunity to join him on this wonderful journey in helping heal their community!

As you arrive for your first appointment, our staff at DHC will review your paperwork and validate your ID and run a complimentary benefits check on your insurance (if applicable.) After receiving a complete tour of our office, a one-on-one consultation will take place to go over your paperwork along with any concerns and/or health goals you may have.

Herodotus, a contemporary of Hippocrates, gained fame curing diseases by correcting spinal abnormalities using therapeutic exercises.
The human body is designed to be self-regulating and self-healing. The part of the body which is responsible for the self-regulating and self-healing properties of the body is the nervous system. The spinal column is designed to protect the vital connection between the nervous system and the body. Therefore, an optimal functioning spine and nervous system equals optimal health.

I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for chiropractic care. At Dynamic Health, Dr. Joe and the team really work hard to find and fix the root cause behind your pain. I like that he uses targeted adjustments rather than just jumping on your back to give it a good crack. He makes it very clear that his job is to see you less (which is something I've never heard from any chiropractor). The team is really friendly and helpful and make every appointment easy and enjoyable. Scheduling and moving appointments is also very simple.

I was really impressed with my time at Dynamic Health and would highly recommend them!
When I arrived, I was greeted by two women at the front desk - Hannah and Shayla. They were both incredibly friendly and inviting. They made the check-in process easy and were the perfect mix between friendly and professional. I also met Dr. Joe upon arrival, who was very friendly as well! He was not the kind of doctor to hide away in between patients - you could tell he genuinely wanted to get to know each person that entered the office.
My appointment was at 9:45 AM, and I was brought to one of the rooms

I went to see Dr Joe Smola 2 weeks ago per a recommendation from my pelvic therapist (she has since apologized profusely for the poor recommendation) THIS IS A SCAM. They just want your money! And by the way they make you pay in "packages" which is another red flag.
So I'll start from the beginning... I called and made an appointment and they got me in right away (because the place is usually empty) on my first visit, I got a grand tour of the hallway where they have the history of chiropractic care and the doctors accolades on the walls. Nice I guess, but I'm here for my pain

I was had a lot of pain in my lower back. It made doing day to day task difficult. I decided to try this place on a recommendation. I have been a patient for 6 weeks now and I have not had any pain at all. To think That I was living with this pain unnecessarily makes me wish I had done this quicker!! My posture is better, I sleep better, and I have no more pain when doing daily activities. All of the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr Joe to anyone inquiring about chiropractic services.

I pulled my back and needed immediate relief, so I was recommended to try out dynamic health. The office is clean and the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of chiropractic medicine. My first visit entailed lots of history and background of what they could do, and consult and xrays. The second visit was about consult and X-ray results, but the pitch felt gimmicky even if the intentions may have been good. At the end of the second visit when they finally gave me pricing the first quote was for $3500 for 90-days, but they offered it to me for $2100. I don't know

Joe and Jamie, the owners, are amazing. I recently got into a car accident and called them the next day and they immediately got me in and were able to see me in minutes. They put their clients first and that is extremely hard to find in a business. They are also very knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an environment where they feel welcomed and like family.

I cannot say enough great things about Dynamic Health Chiropractic! Dr. Joe and his wife, Jamie, are a fantastic team and make you feel very welcome and valued. Dr. Joe takes his time to listen to all of your concerns, answer any questions and thoroughly explain everything you need to know. I have seen a significant decrease in my headaches, TMJ and numbness in my hands and feet and have been able to sleep through the night for the first time in years.
