If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. This was a solid experience, but was it worth the amount of money I spent here? No. For the amount I spent, I'd expect over the top amazing service and amenities. I did the hydrotherapy (water journey) and got a signature Bodhi massage. First of all, unlike most places like this, the hydrotherapy is not included when you book a service, which I thought was a little odd. But then thought, maybe it is over the top amazing.. but no. It's nice.. there are two saunas, a steam room, two hot tubs, and a cold plunge pool. All nice and clean. But I have been

I don't typically like writing negative reviews but I don't think this place is worth the price you pay. The staff is VERY nice and I have no quarrels with them. The problems I had have to do with the quality of the service and the cultural appropriation. I had the couples massage and as soon as I entered all I could hear were Hindu prayers and chants playing. I tried to hold it in but I felt so uncomfortable that after debating it for a long time I requested they change the music and explained how it's offensive to play it in a non-spiritual and non-ritual environment. My friend and I came there last Saturday. Shout out to Olivia, Kennedy and Kim for the excellent service. They answered any questions and offered location for any amenity. It is a one of a kind experience and a great outing for a group. There was a max of 13 people and plenty of distance to be had if all were considerate which other guests were. Definitely would be interested in doing a private group in the future! Happy holidays to all the staff and I wish continued success.

This is a very nice luxury spa. The water journey they have really sets them a part from most spa's. I was on the fence between giving them 3 or 4 stars because I ran into a few problems but some of the issues were out of there hands and overall the manager listened to my feedback and concerns.
I went here two days in a row because the two services I wanted was not available on the same day.

Wasn't sure what to expect for "Hydro Therapy" and it was amazing! Went with a group of girlfriends, and if you can do the private rental DO IT.
Staff was attentive without being intrusive, and the changing rooms, and water room were clean and well stocked. The outside looked cute as well, but since it was late we stayed indoors.
And the ice bath is indeed icy

I had a wonderful experience at the bodhi spa in Newport. We did the water journey, and Hannah was so professional and helpful during that experience. Then I had the signature massage with Jane. She is a highly skilled massage therapist and it was absolutely the best massage I have ever had.
I was so impressed with the professionalism of the staff, all the amenities, and the overall vibe of the spa-which is gorgeous. I plan on coming back as soon as possible!!

Okay let me tell you!! The best! The service there is so attentive, front desk lady was so kind, everybody knows what they are doing. So relaxing so clean ! I could go on and on. I went today with my boyfriend celebrating our one year and I neverrr write reviews but Bodhi spa definitely deserves one along with the staff and more returns to come!!!

The water journey is excellent. Went from the hot tub to the steam room to the cold plunge pool in that order repeatedly with a short relaxation period in the lounge chairs. There is also a sauna and infrared sauna. The area is very clean and conducive to relaxing (low lighting, glowing pools). Felt great after leaving. Staff very friendly. Will be back with others.

The facilities are very nice, fairly compact as you would expect for an inner city spa. Really enjoyed the steam room and the cold plunge pool. Appreciated that there were plenty of showers and even a machine to help dry your wet suit.
The staff were polite and helpful. I really liked that they would go around offering cool, essential-oil scented towels throughout the experience.
As of April 2021, masks were required for the entire time you are doing the water journey. They mention they sell bathing-suit material

We visited Bodhi Spa and had a midday appointment on a Friday. The reception area was inviting, and the girl at the front desk who checked us in was extremely pleasant. We were brought into the locker/dressing room and briefly shown from the doorway what the Water Journey room looked like.

I'm honestly not sure who designed this spa. The reception area is TINY. During checkout, there were several of us nearly on top of each other. Some customers actually had to wait outside. Aside from the reception area, I think the biggest design flaw is that the treatment rooms are off of the waiting/sitting room. Throughout both of my massages (I have been here twice), I could hear chatter, laughter and the staff changing the ice in what I assume was a beverage station. For

Water journey review @ Providence location - I was very happy with the staff and facilities! I'd been to water journey once before at the Newport location. Now that Providence is open, I wanted to go there because it's closer to home. I would 100% recommend, even during COVID. I am very, VERY cautious and only leave the house for groceries or walks. One of the highlights of our Newport, RI trip was when my husband booked us days ahead for 2 and a half hours of 'Water Journey' which is essentially hydrotherapy, at the Bodhi Spa. I appreciated the booking process via text, intake forms 24 hours ahead of the appointment and the temperature checks, reinforcement of masks before and during the process (we also bought the ones best suited/wet suit material for $5 each on site) and the brief walk through with the water attendant. The facility in itself isn't huge but is a good efficient use of space, pretty clean as well
