I had fabulous service from Laptop Repair Carlsbad. I had dropped my expensive HP notebook on the tile floor and it would not turn on. Tony at Laptop Repair had to do a lot of diagnostics and try and lot of different approaches to get it working. I am certain he spent more hours than I was billed for. I am an attorney that relies heavily on my computer equipment and this company will be the first team I call whenever I have trouble with my computer hardware. Totally a Five Star shop!

Awesome! Super responsive, when my TV stopped powering on, I reached out to Mike.
Not only was he able to quickly come out for a service call, he advised me to check on my purchase, and sure enough since I purchased via credit card, there was an extended warranty service on the TV, which I bought in October 2019. Just under the wire!
Once I got the claim filed with my CC company, I got the requested documentation together, and had Mike come out for the last remaining piece.
Not only did he diagnose the problem in under 10 minutes, he did so honestly at the expense of charging the warranty company

Rarely do you need a laptop or mobile phone repair but when you do you want a place that's responsive, reliable and a good value...and that's exactly what I've found this place to be. I had my old MacBook Air repaired here last year and it was done on time, on cost and most importantly it worked as advertised. Last week I brought my new MacBook Air in with water damage in the screen! Mark got me in right away and took a look at it and said take it home and give it a few days. Wow! The damage is gone. To me that shows integrity. Thanks for being honest and giving great advice.

A posse of skilled technicians that work as team to figure out a fix! Paid a reasonably priced initial hour of diagnostics plus a little extra for a rush. Initially received a text that it looked like it could be a problem motherboard, but not giving up - would continue to work the next day on the laptop with more team input- a little after 9:00 PM the next evening received a texted photo of my brightly lit Lenovo screen with another team member’s comment, “It ain’t dead ‘till I say so!” With a team member’s comment, “Respect the process!” I strongly recommend anyone with a computer

My flash drive, with ALL my passwords, was no longer being read by my desktop and laptop. I brought it in, praying that they could at least get my passwords off and transfer them to a new drive I brought in. Success! They had to solder the USB connecter on my old flash drive, then successfully transferred the info to my new drive. They suggested not to use the old one again, which lasted me many years. This was a MAJOR relief. They are a little pricey but well worth it for the professional quality of service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIR. They burned up my laptop which was practically new and only had a defective charge port. They refused to take responsibility and still charged me the repair fee. The owner is a rude and passive aggressive person who told me he would erase my drive and not return the computer unless I paid their high fee.

I had an issue with my laptop and was referred to Laptop Repair Carlsbad by Best Buy after they could not fix my problem. I showed up and Miles repaired my laptop on the spot. My repair was somewhat simple but I will take all of my computer repairs to them. It was an awesome experience and I highly recommend this company.

Very poor service. I dropped off my drone, a DJI mavic pro that had been damaged in a crash, they did state that they could not guarantee a crashed drone. However they never contacted me until I contacted them and they told me it had been repaired. Picked up and camera still doesn't work! I thought I could trust them and I paid them $150, figured they would test what they repair. Person doing the repair is never available they tell me he works by night. And person you talk to has no idea, anyway drone still doesn't work and I'm out $150. Please do not trust these people with your

Mark who works there is the kindest and knowledge person. He saved me and my 75 year old sister. I was going to have him repair a Beats wireless head phone and he said I could buy it new on eBay for half to price that I paid at Verizon . Mark and team provided by far the best computer repair support experience I've ever had. I spilled coffee on my laptop keyboard and After calling around the area Mark was the only person who would give me a ball park estimate without seeing the computer (which apparently is rare). They explained every step along the way and the communication was crystal clear. He was honest and recommended the best option for my situation, which he could have easily recommended the most expensive option as I have zero knowledge of computers. They will be my go to for computer repairs from now on. Highly recommend

Horrendous experience. I dropped off a hard drive hoping for data recovery. After literal MONTHS of no response, I started reaching out. I got automated text updates with no actual information. I called, emailed, and texted numerous times. Finally, 6 months in, I asked that they just send it back. I was blatantly lied to by the owner saying he had mailed it already. I waited. Weeks later another employee confirmed they had not shipped anything and would mail it ASAP. Complete waste of a $50 deposit and countless hours of my time. These people are lazy at best, dishonest at worst. Take your hardware

Dropped off an older PS3 model for a blinking red light issue. The vendor was upfront about a $40 surcharge whether they could fix it or not. The turn around time was approximately two weeks with news that the PS3 was unable to be repaired. When asked if the issue was not diagnosed, response was that "too many parts were broken". When PS3 was brought home to further inspect, the casing was not assembled correctly, there were obvious misalignment of outer pieces. It appears very minimal effort was applied to troubleshoot the issue and in reassembling the console.

All went dark from there. I turned it on it's side to drain out the coffee and patted with a soft cloth. They I started to blow dry it. Nothing!
I quickly made my way to Apple Store where I waited 2 hours to see a technician only for him to come back 4 minutes later to tell me the motherboard was corroded and shorted and it would cost me $1400 to repair as it needed to be re-built! I was devastated! My husband then found Carlsbad Repair Center and we drove it up the next day. Two days later they called to say it was ready

These guys are incredible. They want to help you not just take your money. I took my hard drive because it stopped and i lost all the data. He was very honest with me and he explained every thing for me and he taught me how to fix it. He brought a used one he have and start showing me all the parts. Easily he could take it and charge me 50 $ to check it and i was gonna pay but i felt that he want to help me. Thank you very much. definitely I'll go back to them

This place is great! My daughter used their service to repair her smart phone and recommended I use them to repair my HP laptop. My laptop has a touch screen and was randomly popping up the start screen ... very frustrating! I knew I would need to leave the laptop with them for a few days, but during my visit one of the computer gurus took a look and within minutes it was fixed :-) I walked out of there with a big smile on my face.

I recently found myself in a bind, needing to recover deleted files that had been emptied from the trash. The gentlemen at Carlsbad Repair Center worked with me and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. They did a great job of managing my expectations and making sure I knew recovery was not guaranteed.
All that being said, they ended up recovering exactly what I needed. They also explained the process to me in detail after I expressed an interest in their method.
I hope I never need to go back, but if I do find myself in a similar situation, I won't need to spend time
