Absolute Gem: from staff to Dr. Merrill. I've gone through substantial trauma in my recent time in Tucson regarding my feet. Desert Podiatry is beyond all doubt the most gracious, profesdional, and compotent medical related enterprise in Tucson.
Dr. Merrill could save my toe. And my foot. If I had seen him a couple months ago, I'd most likely still have my toe.
Support staff is superb: warm and gracious. What a joy! The owners and managers must be extremely special people to foster this type of environment. Maybe I'll stay in Tucson after all.

Dr. Steve Gillespie treated my client first out at the Green Valley Hospital and then for my client's follow up appointments (in a Green Valley office). It was wonderful to have a continuum of care and to have that doctor work LOCALLY FULL TIME. Many Tucson doctors only come down once every few weeks "as a favor," if at all. Dr. Gillespie speaks loudly and clearly for those who need it, and he is willing to repeat instructions as well as write them down. Don't laugh; I've had a "professional" tell me she doesn't typically write things down "because [the clients] just throw it away." The office

Terrible service. They do not return calls. It's been over 2 weeks and I can't get them to return my calls. My initial appointment was scheduled quickly and x-rays were taken and I had a two minute visit with the Dr. He said they would check with my insurance company and get back with me. Two weeks and $400 later, they won't call me back.
