Born and raised in Pella, Mark is honored to be helping the families he has known from childhood through one of the most difficult of life's experiences.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

Highly recommend Garden Chapel Funeral Home. My dad had passed unexpectedly and Mark at Garden Chapel did amazing at helping us throughout one of the most hardest times in our lives. The transition from the hospital, to the service planning and helping us get everything in order for the day of the service, was just amazing and all went so smoothly. It was a beautiful home going service, truly thankful for all that Garden Chapel helped us through.

Garden chapel funeral home handled all the arrangements for my dads funeral. They were all caring, kind, sensitive, and professional. They made a very difficult time feel a lot less stressful and my family and I were 100% satisfied with our experience.

They are attentive and very helpful with setting up funereal arrangements. They have a variety of connections with local colleges and churches when planning the funereal ceremony and are able to accommodate family and friends with refreshments and meals at the funeral ceremony. Great service with options!
