Here at Puget Sound Adventist Academy, we promote the growth of mind, body, and spirit. We are committed to providing a balanced educational experience for our students. That is why we emphasize excellence in academics and provide opportunities for extra-curricular and spiritual growth involvement.
Our goal is to grow compassionate leaders and innovators who will make a positive impact on their communities and the world at large. We teach and encourage our students to respect those around them, to learn the meaning of responsibility, and to pursue opportunities for service. We take pride that our PSAA graduates are ready and excited for their futures, no matter the path.

Through a rigorous academic and holistic education, students are empowered with spiritual commitment, personal responsibility, integrity, leadership skills and a caring social awareness and sensitivity to the community and world around them.
Wander through a classroom in both of our schools and you'll probably see exactly what you expect: desks, textbooks, enthusiastic teachers and eager students-essential ingredients of a quality education. But what you won't see is just as important. Beyond the classroom walls, each school is connected to and nurtured by the global Seventh-day Adventist Church's education system-the largest of any Protestant denomination.
Coach Nye graduated from Walla Walla University with a B.S. in physical education with a teaching concentration, and a minor in marketing. He is currently PSAA's athletic director, P.E. and health teacher, and the men's varsity basketball coach. Coach Nye has been involved in sports ever since he can remember, whether practicing t-ball in his backyard with his dad or being the captain of his college basketball team.
One way that PSAA promotes the concept of connection and involvement in our community is through the Assist Program, managed through Southern Adventist University. The Assist program and connects PSAA students with local senior citizens. Students will meet with their mentor for at least an hour once a week.
In support of our teachers and their departments, our Home and School team asks our teachers for their wish lists every year. If you would like to give towards any of these classroom wish lists, please contact us indicating where and what you'd like to donate. Your donations are tax-deductible as applicable by law.
