The Chiazzese Family has been in the jewelry business for over 35 years combined. Joseph and Benny Chiazzese were born in Queens and raised in Yorktown Heights, New York. They became skilled in the trade from an early age, developed a passion for jewelry, and were eager to progress. Benny went to The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to become a certified gemologist and now has more than ten years of experience in the field.

I had the please of going to J&B Family Jewelers in Yorktown last week. They were absolutely wonderful!! I had my engagement set in a beautiful new setting and got a bee matching band. We also bought our son a necklace he has been wanting for a long time. The entire staff was helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Throughout the entire process they were helpful, responsive, and addressed all of my concerns since the diamonds for the ring were family heirloom. They helped make my ideas a reality by providing feedback, advice, making the overall process very enjoyable and stress free for a very special occasion in our life. The owners and the entire team are wonderful!! Whether you’re picking out a small gift for your teachers, a more extravagant gift for your significant other, or just need help with an item you already own the team at J & B Family Jewellers are super helpful & honest! I visited J & B Jewelers because I had to get my engagement ring reset. Joe was very helpful and honest when discussing a new setting. It was a tough process for me for various reasons, but they never made me feel pressured and weren’t pushy. My new ring had to be special ordered. It came in faster than expected and they were able to reset my Diamond in the new ring extremely quickly. Benny made sure to take the time to show me the inscription on my Diamond both before and after it was in the new setting. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and easy to work with. It seemed to be the only professional non-commercial jeweler in town.When I decided to make the move to purchase an engagement ring for my girlfriend, I went over and met with Benny. Both he and his brother Joe worked with me to find 3 beautiful diamonds to choose from and I was able to pick out the perfect setting right off the shelf. I have been going to Benny for years. Benny along with the rest of the crew is super patient with me and my indecisiveness. They truly have awesome stuff and make it so easy to run down the street and pick-up gorgeous gifts. Also, my beautiful engagement ring was purchased at JB by my fiancé. The rock itself is gorgeous and Benny helped pick out the perfect setting (I know Benny had a lot of influence). We recommend them to everyone and no one is ever disappointed!

My finance would come home speaking about different diamond cuts and clarity, like he was a gemologist, geologist or something. I do know (cause I asked) that my fiance felt comfortable with his purchase and sure he was getting a reasonable price for the ring. JB really shared their knowledge of what to look for when buying diamonds and shared their expertise on different ring settings. Who would of thought there were so many components to buying an engagement ring.

My wife went into this store and she took off her engagement ring and left it on the counter because she was trying on wedding bands. After the staff had helped her, she left the store. Completely forgetting to put her engagement ring back on. Since it was her first time in their store they didn't have any of her information or anyway to contact her. The next day she went in praying that it was there, which in fact it was. Being honest goes a long way with me, I will definitely be taking my business to them from now on.

I recently went into J&b family jewelers to bring several repairs and was extremely satisfied with the quality of service they provide. I was able to watch the jeweler while he performed the repairs with a laser machine and got an in depth look at exactly what he was doing. After this I was so impressed by their extensive selection that I decided to remount my ring on the spot as well. The staff and owners were so helpful and I truly felt like they were interested in helping me find exactly what I wanted.
