Our mission is to honor God and his creation by advancing Florida's transition to solar power. As an entrepreneur in Central Asia for seven years, the founder of the company created a solar power generation system for his company's soybean extrusion facility and enjoyed the energy independence it brought the agribusiness.
When he returned to the U.S. in 2011 to his home town of Tampa, he wanted to bring the same energy independence to the residents of and businesses of Florida, and Solar Advantage was born. His passion for solar power helped him achieve inclusion in the National Association of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) in the PV Installation category.

BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!!! REGRET DAILY!! We are and have been paying MORE with having solar than had we never installed it which Instill can't understand.
We were taken advantage of and totally mislead. We trusted the sales rep and his recommendations given his proposed experience and promises. He reviewed several months of our electric bills therefore he knew what we would need to benefit from solar. We are now close to 2 years into this and again paying MORE than had we never done this. Also, we are still with ZERO resolution or explanation as to why and the inability to speak to anyone to

I received quotes from four different solar companies. All four of them did solar panel layout designs for my roof. Solar Advantage was the most professional across the board, and was the only company that chose a panel layout that didn't put panels in places that are shaded 50% of the day. Their estimates on costs to recuperate my investment were the most conservative, assuming a 6% annual increase in the cost of a kilowatt vs the other three companies that assumed 8%-10%. This is while also having one of the lower prices.

Our panels were installed in August 2017. In 2018 we had 2 months of credit from Duke and our average electric bill was around $9.95. In 2019 we had credit for 4 months and our bill has been being $9.95. The installation went as explained, their service has been prompt and any and all questions have always been addressed.I did my homework on solar installation and asked tons of questions from other companies as well. I spent at least 6 months researching solar panels, inverters, watts per panel, price per watt, system size, breakeven period, tax credits, tax credit rollovers, solar companies, reputations, and installation prices. I narrowed it down then met with 3 companies. Hands down, Solar Advantage was undeniably the one and only choice! Unlike the other salespeople, Patrick was very knowledgeable and professional, and the prices were very fair (I assume this is due to minimal middlemen and honesty). And, if you’re lucky enough to have Diego and his team do the installation, then you have hit a home run

Solar Advantage installed our solar panels in October 2016. John was great to work with and his proposal offered us a great price with good quality equipment. Our power production has been right in line with his estimate the last 4 months. The install team was professional and did a great job on our flat roof. Would recommend this company to a friend!

We bought our first home back in 2014 and it didn't take long to notice increasing utility bills. We interviewed a few solar companies and we're very happy that we chose to go with Solar Advantage. From beginning to end, Martin and his team educated and explained everything - no hard sales pitches. Now out 9kw installation runs like a dream and instead of dressing out electricity bills...we look forward to seeing how we are saving on a monthly basis!
