Lauren helped me book exactly what I wanted my vacation to be like. She listened and really heard what I wanted. End result was beyond my expectations. She always got back to me when I had a question, showed comparisons and never once made me feel overwhelmed. We did most of this via email!!! It was so simple and never time consuming. Peter and Lauren helped us plan my 50th birthday trip to Jamaica. They were so helpful and professional. Booking our trip through them added extra perks and discounts that we would not have been able to get on our own. They may travel to and from the airport so easy and were able to connect us with an expediting service through customs on the Jamaica side that saved us hours. Stacey, our travel agent, was just wonderful! She was patient, kind and helped us pick the perfect resort for our ten year anniversary! We chose sandals Saint Lucia grande. I loved the fact that Stacey informed us of everything we needed to know about the resort, including great recommendations and made us feel well prepared for our flight and travel. I have use this agency in the past and had a fabulous experience. However, when I tried to book again I worked with a different agent because the one I had liked no longer was employed there. Lauren the new agent never responded to my phone calls or emails. I decided to try to give them a chance a third time and worked with Peter. At first on the phone he seemed personable but, when it came to sending me quotes he only sent me one option and when I replied saying that I would like more than one option this is our price range and the number of days we can spend he sent me a rude email stating that

They found us a car rental, airfare, and our desired resort for cheaper than we could have gotten them on our own. I used About Going Places to book a trip to London and Paris for the New Year. I had a wonderful experience! I worked with Peter and he responded to emails quickly and answered all of my questions promptly and professionally. The hotels we stayed in were both great (clean, friendly staff) and were close to many restaurants, tourist attractions, and train stations so it was very easy to get around each city. He also booked airport transfers for us so we didn't have to worry about missing our flight! I had a great time and will be using them again!
