Couple these operations with the variety of agricultural and commercial operations in the area, and it's easy to see the diversity of clientele serviced and satisfied by HMS. Trident LLC bought Hampton Machine Shop in February of 2021...they have completely transformed the place and are on the verge of becoming a sought after machine shop in the Newport News area. I implore anyone who has experience working in a machine shop to openly apply for a position at Hampton Machine Shop. The past is the past and new ownership strives to make every employee get the pay, recognition, and care they always deserved. Trident LLC is an international maritime organization and the efforts shown in the past few months at Hampton Machine Shop should remove the past headache bought on

I worked there for 6 months before they fired me for a mistake that was not even mine. They are a very bad company to work for. Don't waste your time. I'm my short time, they fired several people that I know were very good workers. But that really did me a favor because I have been on my current job for more than five years. find a better company to work for. The management at this place if horrible. Especially the Lady who does the hiring and also does the firing. Fired two weeks before Christmas. All I can say is, Thanks for nothing. People do not waste your time here. You will regret it.

Very unprofessional business and work environment.Everyone that works there talks about how bad management is.If you approach 90 days it's your responsibility to ask for a evaluation and insurance. If you don't or forget you miss out.A worker that has been there 16 years was sick the day of his evaluation and they didn't give his raise. That's what kind of shady management this poorly ran business has. There are better places to work that pays what good welders deserve.
