Services
Providing Hilton Head with the best in patient care and wellness for the past 28 years, is a responsibility we take very seriously. Every time you visit our office, you are greeted by friendly staff and are treated with 100% focus on you and your health concerns. We have always taken our time with patients, but most importantly we listen to their heath issues.
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience. After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up "stuck" spinal joints.
Dr. Saponara has been admitted into the American Board of Functional Neurology, is a Fellow of the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation, and Board Eligible in Vestibular Rehabilitation. He has over 1000 hours of clinical neuroscience, and is Carrick trained. This experience and knowledge allowes him to see first hand the impact functional neurology can make in assessing and treating patients.
A product of the Cleveland Clinic, the C3 Logix is a neurological assessment tool designed to measure your reaction time, memory, processing speed, motor function, vision, balance and more. The culmination of these measurements provide a big picture of how your brain is functioning.
As he continues in the Traumatic Brain Injury Postgraduate program, Dr. Saponara sees first-hand the benefit of these assessments as well as the need for a "baseline" measurement for comparison purposes. It's this experience that has led Dr. Saponara not only to bring the first and only C3 Logix assessment to the Hilton Head community, but also to assess all of his patients for free.

If a patient's body has a misrepresentation of verticality, this altered verticality causes impaired proprioception and affects the bodies' center of mass, making the patient susceptible to falls. The Vestibular Technologies CAPS unit measures postural sway by calculating a number of variables such as sway area, velocity, direction, and frequency.

This is the kind of classic, local Italian restaurant that everyone wants to have in their neighbourhood. The garden squares of Islington are very lucky to have such a place and it's not lost on them.
The moment you walk through the door, you know that it's going to be buzzy, friendly, crowded and comfortable all at the same time. A fresh deli counter fights with walls crowded with meats and cheeses and wines. You know that there's going to be a questionably-streamed Italian football match on somewhere in the corner.
But the food. The pizzas are fantastic and you can't go wrong with one. But

Don't get me wrong: the place is lovely, food is great, when you finally get it, and it feels really cozy.
Sadly last time we had to wait for our pasta for 1 hour (!). We booked a table, there were no warnings they are that crazy busy, no excuses when we mentioned the situation. May be just missed our order, but dealt badly with it.
I'd love to give another try just to be sure it was one off.

So, I reviewed Saponara pizza about a month ago and gave it my highly subjective 4.0/5.0 "Best Pizza Rating" (trademark). Well, I went back, as predicted then, and as I have but one review to give, I've amended this one.
Boy, this was a game changer. Had me the Saponara pizza, the namesake of the restaurant, which is essentially a sausage and mushroom pizza. And it was perfect. It was a little difficult for me to come to terms with this. I think because we are looking for faults when we rate - and that is inherently a flaw - that when we don't find one, we are hard-pressed to say so.
But nevermind
