Laurent, D.V.M is a 2002 graduate of Louisiana State University. She spent 7 years in private practice in Covington and Morgan City.

First time here and I really liked it. It has all kinds of cute pictures of animals on the wall. The receptionists are top notch and there are dog treats available in the lobby. The only thing I wasn't super fond of was the doctor we saw though I'd say it really isn't her fault too much. She didn't quite examine my dogs broken nail. Granted, he was really excited but that's why I took him there and you should be a able to do it. She told me to give him carprofen which I had at home. I will definitely be bringing my dogs back here because overall it was a really good experience and affordable..

Compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable! I've been bringing my pups here since it opened in 2010. Even the sign and building look inviting and professional. From annual shots to emergency visits to euthenisasions, the staff is always very caring, sincere, and understanding. They even send out cards after your baby crosses the rainbow bridge. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Reagan for my pup's annual visit. She fits right in with this amazing team. You will not be disappointed, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a wonderful place! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. My dog got his tongue pierced trying to chew through our chain-linked fence to get to a possum. I called his regular vet but he said he wouldn’t be in until later and I should call someone else. (He just lost several customers now). When I called Best Friends, they said bring him right in! They surgically removed the piece of fence that was stuck in his tongue. Amazing place! They will be caring for my animals now!

You really couldn’t have made this experience any better that the staff at Best Friends Animal Hospital already has. My baby girl Millie is a scaredy-cat, and she LOVES the staff and isn’t afraid to go to the vet at all. They always find her either a little toy or pass along some treats for her when she leaves, and just from looking at her, I can tell she has receive the absolute best care possible. In addition, the staff is also well versed at comforting me from my separation anxiety I have with my cat. Millie is a permanent member of the Best Friends Animal family.
