Dr. George vonHilsheimer, M.D. is an experienced and passionate board-certified dermatologist at Keys Dermatology. He received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences before completing his residency training at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. vonHilsheimer is a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
DeeDee Vazquez, PA-C is a certified physician assistant with a concentration in dermatology and more than 13 years of clinical experience. At Keys Dermatology, DeeDee provides a wide range of services, including conducting skin cancer screenings and educating patients on various dermatological conditions.
At DermCare Management, we give our dermatologists the support to maintain a strong patient allegiance by partnering with our management expertise. Our philosophy is to make healthcare a team-oriented environment by providing the tools needed to achieve practice growth while improving the quality of care that has led to our partner practice's success.

I had a wonderful experience and my bi-annual examination was conducted very thoroughly. Dee Dee Vazquez is a true professional. The support staff also performed their duties with efficiency and courtiously.

Very professional and well organized but appointment times versus actual times had a slippage of 15 minutes. In addition expected for first visit to show 30 minutes before appointment time for a lot of paperwork - this 30minutes is fairly standard for many medical offices but the 15minutes slippage beyond means for a first appointment that you are there 45minutes before the scheduled time.

I’ve always felt comfortable and that I ‘m in good hands in respect to the diagnostic abilities, but even more so for the treatment methodologies at Keys Dermatology. I have experienced multiple treatments for solar keratoses and for both basal and squamous cell cancers. Throughout the procedures the professional demeanors of the staff has always made me feel both comfortable and confident that they truly care about my well being.

My nurse Kelley put me completely at ease (as I was very nervous about the procedure) She was professional and still friendly. The Doctor was amazing. His manner was the same, courteous professional and still kind. My recovery, though it hurt a bit (right on my nose) is manageable. The physician called me at 7PM to check on me!! Who does that?? Amazing!

I've had two appointments at Dr. Pruett's Key West office. They were friendly and efficient both times. Dr. Pruett is very knowledgeable about skin cancers and have me a few options for treatment. He is a kind person and took time to answer all my questions. I definitely recommend him and will be going back the next time I need a dermatologist.
