Nehalem Bay Winery was founded in 1974 in the historic Mohler Creamery building near the coastal town of Nehalem. The Creamery produced cheese, milk and butter from 1909 to 1959 as part of the Tillamook County Creamery Association, which later became the Oregon Coast's most popular attraction, The Tillamook Creamery.
Within a few years, we were producing traditional white and red wines in locally handmade oak foeders, making us one of the ten oldest wineries in the State of Oregon and the first winery on the Oregon Coast. Our tasting room, nestled in the lush green landscape between Nehalem Bay and where Neahkahnie Mountain meets the Pacific Ocean has become a historic place to gather and share the best in wine, food, music and community.

Found this place on our way home after some outings. Picked up two different bottles and thought the Foch would be pretty good to checkout. I must have a bad bottle or something... the cork looked rotten and did not smell good. The wine itself tasted sour and had a burning sensation in my throat for a while after just a little sip. Not expensive, but what a waste... don't think I would give them another try... Had a bottle of Lobo Hills from Columbia Valley before this one and tasted much better. I have low expectations when it comes to wine and I am disappointed enough to write about it...

We love this winery!!! We have been to Deposit Bay, Portland markets, Portland seafood festival, and here! I received this for my birthday!! I love it!! Nobody has ever done anything like this for me! I really appreciate it!!! Good people to spend a few hours chatting, and having some great wine!!! We are in Rose Valley, and we have traveled far for the winery vendors! We have had cases upon cases throughout the last 5 years! We love to entertain with family and friends π·πThank you!π·πππ

Loved this tasting experience! The wines are fruity and not my typical favorites, but the experience here was top notch and the wines were somewhat original so I liked it. The server was very friendly and made great conversation while sharing about the wines. He gave us some great local information about places to take our dog as well. His dog was adorable and made an excellent winery greeter! Every new person that came in she went to in a calm and sweet manner.... I liked her almost as much as the wine! The location is a little off the main 101 but worth the side trip. The parking was ample for
