A brief description of the types of lenses and variety of frames available at Uniontown Vision Center in Uniontown. Selecting your lenses and frames is a very personal choice. A wide variety of options are available that can be tailored to suit not only your medical needs but also your fashion preferences.
There are a number of reasons why you might prefer contact lenses to standard eyewear: a glasses-free look, hassle-free vision correction, wearing non-prescription sunwear and goggles, or the convenience of not having to worry about misplacing your glasses. If you have a high prescription or astigmatism, contact lenses may provide more enhanced vision correction than glasses.

Extremely friendly and kind receptionists. They always help me picking out glasses and are very knowledgeable as well. And I feel Dr. Allen knows my eyes better than I do. He checks them thoroughly and I am very confident in his prescription. Love this place!

I've been going to this vision center for over 10 years. I would say each year, it becomes more and more disappointing. Like everyone says the tech is up to date, but the people not so much. The communication between clients are piss-poor. They're knowledge on products they carry are slim to none. I bought glasses from them less than a year ago and was questioned if I even bought them there. When they realize which frame they were, they knew there was nosepad issues without even letting me know! The process to even getting your contacts/glasses is as slow as molasses. I have used the Uniontown Vision Center for my last few pair of eye glasses. Dr Allen and the team are friendly, efficient, and very helpful. I highly recommend their services.

Whomever the girl is who calls the clients she is absolutely terrible. Incredibly rude and has zero communication skills.
I’ve been going to Lake Vision Care for over 10 years. I love the ladies there and they make me want to continue being a customer but if I ever have to deal with Uniontown vision again I will cease my business with these sister companies.
Train your people in communication and delivering expectations that meet or go beyond what the consumer is expecting.

The only redeeming quality of this place is that the tech was great. The doctor completely lacked personality and could not get out the room fast enough, they waited until my visit was complete to inform me that they no longer accept my insurance (when the website states that they do and I sent insurance info in advance of appointment), they demanded I pay for visit in full at that time (after being blindsided that they do not take my insurance), and then never notified me when my glasses arrived. I wanted to love this place - I love supporting independent local physicians. EXTREMELY disappointed

Love this place! I made a single comment during a routine exam about a problem that I was having in one eye and the doctor stopped his exam, re-examined my eye right then and there. He answered all my questions and makes an effort to make sure that you are getting exactly what will work for your needs. The staff is really great and will take their time with you to make sure that you get the glasses that look the best on you. Really friendly and kind people...and you always get in when you are supposed to for your exam. I have never had to wait for the doctor...he is always ready.
