The aroma of the cakes, cookies, etc. filled the air as we walked in this clean establishment. The woman at the counter was pleasant and answered all my questions. I am not a fan of rum; no need to worry about that as it was subtle. The pumpkin spice latte cake was moist and flavor was underwhelming. I tasted none of the ingredients that match the description. The chocolate marble cake although moist had too much icing that may have overpowered the cake. The carrot cake was moist and flavorful. To be charged $7.50 for each slice I had high expectations. Got the Tiramisu, was not pleased with it at all, didn’t finish it either. My friend got 3 cupcakes and she liked them, “i liked them, but not my favorite… i probably won’t be going back.”
Also, customer service was a bit strange. Awkward conversational exchanges with the employee who also didn’t know if they offered a certain price point if you should order a dozen cupcakes, etc.
Not terrible, but not worth the trip!

My daughter's birthday cake was so beautiful with real flowers and tasted terrific!! Been using them for the past 2 years and will continue to.

We didn’t find their Tres Leches cake very good, it was plain/basic, wasn’t “wet” and didn’t have any good flavors to it. We were super excited to try a local bakery close to us but there are many better options for Tres Leches the cake.

Had an amazing experience from this cake shop. I have ordered two cakes from here one for my daughter’s second birthday and another one for my son’s first birthday. Both of them are nicely decorated and most importantly exactly the way I wanted them at a reasonable price. Very professional and friendly service they provided every time and the cakes tasted delicious. I got positive and strong complements from my guests that this is the best cake in town. I will go ahead and order from them for all the occasions!

The frosting is amazing, but the cake itself is of not good quality. It literally tastes as if the cake was dunked in a liquid, such as olive oil. Very disappointed in the texture and flavor of the cake itself. Honestly, without the frosting the cupcake would not be edible.

Wanted to try something different for our daughters 21 birthday so we went here. Was pleased with most the products. The Grand Marnier was by far my favorite! Excellent flavor. Glad I read previous reviews about the cupcakes being extra moist from soaking them. Supposedly a traditional Caribbean method. Might have been put off not knowing but it actually made them delicious, hate dry cupcakes. The service was nice, nothing exceptional but nice. In all would absolutely stop by if in the area but probably not make an extra trip just to go.

I was trying the Tres Leches cake and waiting to taste something special and delicious, hoping with each bite I'd get that famous aftertaste this cake should have. I have to admit I was disappointed. It was ok, but not truly good, even the texture and flavor of the milky soupiness was off. I wasn't expecting to see the other great reviews, so maybe it's me. But I wouldn't purchase from Rum Cakes again. It feels kinda like Sprinkles, pretty to look at but not really that good.

So yummy! We have visited three times since they opened and every time our selections are deliciously amazing. Plus, they are open later than most bakeries around - perfect for grabbing a last-minute dessert after dinner! We can't wait to go back!

I got a small vanilla rum cake here recently. I never had a rum cake before, but I heard good things about it and thought this would be a good time to try it. Luckily, they had whole cakes available for pick up which I was able to personalize with a greeting on the cake.

We served the cake at home and it was delicious. The cake was moist, not too sweet, and had a perfect hint of rum in the cake. I even liked the icing, which is something I usually scrape off! The four of us finished the cake the next day; it was that good.

The moment you step through the door the aroma is spellbinding!! Delicious desserts all made from scratch. How do you choose? The answer is you get a slice of each one! Yes, they sell them by the slice, small or large whole cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and more.

Due to COVID19, this was our Halloween evening and eating cake all night did not disappoint. Each cake had its own unique flavor, all of them were moist, and the frosting was light but sweet. If I had to choose just one, I'd say the Coconut Cake was my favorite.

We needed a last minute tres leches cake for a dinner party and Rum Cakes Factory had one ready to go for us! Delicious cake that everyone enjoyed. We'll continue using them for our baked good needs!

I had visited them a few times at their first location on Hebron and LOVED THEM!! Now that they opened a second location, I had to check them out and not only I love their second location, but their desserts are out of this world!! I have recommended them to quite a few friends and now we are all loyal fans of Rum Cakes Factory.

I order via doordash when I'm craving sweets. I've tried multiple including strawberry, coconut, rum, and some of the cupcakes. Everything's been really good. They're sweet and soooo moist! You should support this business!

This place is the real deal! Very good cakes available by the slice (a decent size, too!) or the whole cake. Couple of my favorites are the carrot cake, chocolate rum cake, and the alfajores cookies. I love the seasonal flavors, too. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Very fresh and super tasty!!

My new favorite dessert place! The choconutella chip cookie is seriously the best cookie I've ever tried in my life. I also tried a slice of a cake but I don't remember the name- it had the word Boston in it. It was like a white rum cake with cream cheese filling and chocolate icing. I wish I remembered the name but the cake was so light and soft, perfect amount of moisture, perfect amount of rum, and all the flavors complimented each other. Best cake I ever had. I've been going here since it opened, and it will never disappoint! I have never tasted a more moist cake! Even when I don't eat it from my fridge for many days it still tastes amazing. I definitely recommend going here best of the best and all homemade!!! :)

Honestly too sweet for my taste... but it was definitely fun trying out different desserts. I got the guava cream cheese pastry, alfajores, marbled rum cake, and the tres leches.

Their order of sweetness ranges from this: (1 being the least sweet)

1. Rum cakes (sponge cake itself is just right but icing made it really sweet
2. Tres leches
3. Guava cream cheese pastry (guava paste)
4. Alfajores (sugar overload lol)

I don't have a sweet tooth but I ate it with a friend who loves sweets and he also said it was too sweet. I think the items I would recommend here are the rum cakes.

Tip

This was my first time trying this place out. I drive past it everyday coming home from work and finally tried some of their cakes.
I got the amaretto cake and the rum marble. The marble one has sweet icing but the cake was on the dry side.
The amaretto one has good almond flavor and sweet icing and the cake was more moist than the marble one.
The pieces are larger enough to share between two people.

As first time customer, I had a great experience today. The service was quick, and friendly. The owner shared his stories about the bakery as he was putting my order together.
I got the Grand Marnier and Red Velvet. It’s hard to keep yellow cake moist, and they did it beautifully. Thin layer of icing which I prefer goes very well with the cakes. The red velvet was a little too moist for my liking but still I enjoyed it.
It’s hard to find a good bakery in the area and I’m definitely a fan of this one. Will come back to try other cakes.
