In my spare time I enjoy shopping, playing video games, watching scary movies, and hanging with my friends and family. I have been with Cullman Cosmetic and Family Dentistry since 2013, and enjoy working in such a high tech office to meet the dental care needs of our patients. In our spare time we enjoy doing Bar B Que competitions and spending time with our children and grandchildren.
I have been married to my husband Zac for 10 years, and together we have 3 beautiful children, 2 girls and a boy in the middle. My favorite past time is spending time with my children, shopping, and pedicures- like any woman. I am an avid football fan, and Fall is my favorite season. On the weekends you can catch me yelling ROLL TIDE!

Services
For your convenience, we accept most credit cards, cash, money orders and personal checks. Also, we participate with Care Credit and Citi Health Card to help those patients who desire a payment plan (up to 12 months, interest free). Arrangements for Care Credit or Citi Health Card should be made, prior to your first appointment.
Please call (256) 734-7151 to schedule an appointment, our office hours are Monday thru Thursday from 8:00am until 5:00pm, and Friday from 8:00am until 1:00pm. If you reach our office after hours you may leave your name and telephone number and we will return your call the next business day. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth. In most cases, we will also clean your teeth on this visit and provide an evaluation that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment.
We designed our office to be comfortable and relaxing so that you feel at home. The added touches like the Keurig coffee maker in the reception area and the TVs on the ceiling in the dental suites take your mind off of dentistry. We have invested in state of the art sterilization equipment and all of the latest dental technologies including The OS-O Pure water purification system that supplies our water.
Your smile is important. It's one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. A whiter, brighter smile is beautiful - it can help you feel better about yourself and make a memorable impression. Your lifestyle and the aging process can stain and darken your teeth. Many things we do on a regular basis can contribute to stained teeth, such as drinking coffee, tea, cola and red wine or smoking.

I've had a difficult time finding a dentist (along with the staff) that I felt comfortable with since moving to Cullman nine years ago. Dr. Echols and his staff are amazing! By far the best experience I've ever had at a dental office. My only regret is not making an appointment with this practice years ago.

THE B-E-S-T!!!!!!! Dr Echols and everyone else up at Cullman Cosmetic are BEYOND AMAZING! They go above and beyond to take excellent care of you while you're there and they all have kind beautiful attitudes and personalities, they literally changed my life and I couldn't ever thank them enough, their angels and I'll never forget what they've done for me... I highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed at all 😁

I just had the best experience with them. I have always been afraid of the dentist, back in 2010 I had all my upper teeth removed. I saw a dentist that put me to sleep, so you can imagine how scared I was to have my lower teeth removed awake. Dr Echols office was so sweet and patience with me. Dr. Porter did an amazing job, would ask me often if I was ok.

I'm so glad that I left Aspen Dental and came here, Aspen dental tried to scam me out of thousand of dollars by trying to make me have treatments I didn't even need. I went to Aspen to get Whitening and bonding done and they refused to do it until I got the more expensive treatments done, 4 000 dollars worth of expensive treatments that when I got a second opinion I didn't even need. I'll reccomend this dentist to everyone. Everyone was awesome here.

When I was a child, teen, and young adult, Dr. Edwards was my dentist. When he retired and passed the torch on to Dr. Echols, I chose to remain a patient here. I have not lived in Cullman for years, but I make the drive twice a year (hopefully not more than bi-annually as long as I'm diligent about flossing & brushing!) to come to this office. Many things have changed - that happens when a tornado unexpectedly destroys half the town, including this dental practice - but you can always count on friendly service, helpful staff, and genuine care at Cullman Cosmetic & Family Dentistry
