Our company started with the drive and passion to help a local veteran that lost his home care. With determination, Better Horizons In-Home Care opened its doors to help veterans, our first client being that local veteran in need. Watching the difference we have made in our clients' lives was motivation to expand our services to other local community members, offering services through the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medicaid, and private pay.

I am a nurse who works with Better Horizons. I have been an operating room nurse, working in surgery, for the past 6 years. I desperately desired to get away from the hospital environment pressures and the things that were taking me away from real, genuine patient care. I decided to take a chance on Better Horizons as a home health nurse. Luckily, they took a chance on me too and it has been the perfect decision for myself and my career.
