La Crosta Woodfire Pizzeria Italiana
Here we share our vision of authentic Italian traditional pizza, which dates back to the Greco-Roman period and starts with fresh, high quality ingredients. Many of them are flown in from Italy, including our tomatoes, flour and burrata cheese. Our dough is handmade daily. In fact, La Crosta in Italian means "the crust" and we believe our fluffy crust is the best in the business.

In all, I've created a comfortable restaurant for you and your friends to spend time together and create new memories. I invite you to stop in for lunch or dinner in our relaxing and informal place, soft lighting, an outdoor veranda and a menu of fantastic, authentic Italian traditional pizzas! This is my favorite place for authentic Pizza.
Services
Inspired by authentic Italian traditional pizzas in Italy, we here at La Crosta Woodfire Pizzeria Italiana, study carefully the tradition of woodfire pizza making, and import from Italy several of our key ingredients including tomatoes, cheeses and flour. Our pizza dough is house-made every day, and hand tossed to order.

I don't usually write reviews I felt compelled to share this was easily some of the worse pizza I've ever had. Perhaps it was because it was delivery? Regardless, the pizza sauce was super watery, and had a bright pinkish color to it in some spots which was really strange. There wasn't that much cheese on there and as far as taste goes, was not that flavorful.
There's really no excuse that justifies $22 dollars. Far too high of a price for pizza this bad.

We ordered baked goat cheese & crostini for an appeitizer and carciofi & portabella with white truffle oil and chili burrata & proscuitto for pizzas. Food and service were good. We slightly liked the chili burrata pizza more as was more flavorful, and the white truffle oil on carciofi portabella pizza was not too overpowering. The carciofi was cooked just right but I was expecting portabella would be sliced but was cubed and felt very little were on it. The appetizer we chose was great but wish there were a little more variety to choose from.

Went for a Friday night with a girlfriend and we will be back again! Our server was very nice and attentive. We got pizza with figs on it - so good!! Wine, salad, and dessert was great as well.

Food was delicious! We had the caprese salad, burratta, and tried the Calla-Tella, Piccante, and Carciofi pizzas. All of it was terrific!
Our waiter kept implying we were ordering too much food, which was off putting and strange. We’re giving you more money, why are you shaming us for being hungry?? Will definitely come back or order pickup and hopefully get more friendly service next time.

Great pizza, giant salads, kind service. Enjoyed my first experience. A bit pricey for the pizza in my opinion but well in line with other upscale joints in the neighborhood and better than most. Will be back to try other things and possibly update review.

Very pleased with the pizza, service and environment. Dessert was tasty although the tiramisu was partially frozen and a little crunchy... tasty, but crunchy
Ordered from here on a whim via Uber Eats, pepperoni was so good had to bring the team in for dinner, everyone was pleased

Absolutely loved this place. The environment, the crust, the price is fair for the quality that you get here! We started off with the carpaccio, it was fresh and well presented, also nothing can go wrong with a cold peroni! Now, let's talk about what we are here for: the pizzas. This is the crust that I am always looking for, Neapolitan one! Not easy to find in Chicago, but glad I found this little cozy spot! We got the cala-tella and chilli burrata pizzas and oh my god. it was beautiful. This is how pizza should be, not huge pizzas full of toppings and cheese, also a little burned and crispy around

A small no frills pizza restaurant, that has very warm feeling Alright food. It just misses the top 5 in neopolitan pizzas. Everything was done right, but a little dry. They have a good salad and enough wine choices . Coffee was very good.
