Double D Welding began as a portable welding service and has expanded to offer in-shop fabrication and repairs at our 12,400 sq ft facility. Double D Welding, Inc. has been servicing various industries of Southeastern Michigan and Northwest Ohio since 1988. Owner, Douglas Fountain has been in the welding, fabricating, and machinery repair industry his entire working career--over 30 years! Double D Welding began as a portable welding service and has built an excellent reputation as a leader in its field over the years.
Here at Double D Welding we have the capability to pierce and cut 2" mild steel and 1.5" aluminum and stainless steel all the way down to 20Ga sheet. We run a 6' x 12' AKS tru-kut table with the Hypertherm XPR 300 plasma. Because of the superb table motion and unbeatable quality of the plasma we can cut with great accuracy and tight tolerances.
