Our goal is to ensure you feel safe, confident and comfortable during your visit. We understand the importance of the trust you place in us, whether you are here for testing, group therapy services, family or marriage therapy, counseling for anxiety, or any of our other psychological services. You'll work with one of our administrative staff to identify the right therapist for your needs.
Individual therapy, also known as counseling, focuses on the development of new skills and improved coping strategies to better manage moods and emotions, change behavior patterns, and address difficulties in relationships. All individual therapy starts with a diagnostic assessment to identify any potential mental health diagnosis, current stressors, personal strengths, and the client's goals for treatment.
Family therapy deals with problems that impact the family as a whole. Stressful events such as divorce, financial issues, chronic illness, the death of a loved one or other major life transitions may strain family relationships, making communicating and resolving conflicts a challenge. Your family relationship is an important factor in psychological health.

My father visited Kent Psychological services for an evaluation of intent prior to receiving bariatric surgery. He needed approval from a psychologist to undergo this surgery. He is 5 months into his decision and approval from doctors to get the surgery; having been to 8 specialty doctors already, a psychologist was the last. At the end of his video appointment he asked her, "So will you approve me?", and she said "I don't see a reason why not at this time". She said that to him approximately 2 weeks ago. Three days ago, he receives a phone call from his surgeon explaining he didn't pass the psychological

I met with Dr. Elizabeth Long regarding ADHD testing. She was awesome. I really enjoyed working with her; she helped guide me through the process and kept me informed of what in the world I was doing.
The only downside for me is that they don't prescribe meds. I had to find someone else for that.

The administrative staff here are absolutely inappropriately cold and not compassionate. I had been seeing my provider for almost 2 years...and there was three months after I lost my job that insurance didn't go through. It was quite a hefty bill and I kept trying to prove to them insurance was still valid. I didn't have any further time so I set up a payment plan so that I can go back to see the provider. Even though I'm paying on a monthly basis and will pay for the appointment in cash out right to see her to do some desperate times they refuse to let me make an appointment. Doesn't this go against

I’m not sure about the establishment in general, but if you schedule, don’t schedule with Kim. She is the most inattentive, uncompassionate, dismissive person I’ve ever paid to be the opposite of those things! Each time I see her I have to repeat things I’ve told her again and again, as if she doesn’t have the memory span and/or truly doesn’t care, and then as soon as the clock nears time, she dismisses you and ushers you out the door, even if you are directly in the middle of saying something extremely important; she won’t have for you even the decency to respond to it, though she

Tried to make an appointment for my daughter who is 20yrs old who can barely get out of bed right now, that's why she needs a therapist and they won't let me as her mother just make an appointment.
