I have worked with Joshua Stein for over 2years now. In that period of time I have seen both the good and bad comments on here...and this is why....
Mr. Stein told me straight up what he was going to do, how Both of my cases would end and he also gave me some advice "Trust the process."
I did not however trust the process because court proceedings are extremely stressful and I felt like a fish out of water the entire time.
Mr. Stein did go periods of time where I could not reach him, and where he did not respond but that was because he already had a game plan that he lined out and I WAS MAKING

I wish I had paid better attention to reviews that I found online. I thought the legit, yet poor, reviews were likely from people who were angry about not being able to get out from under criminal charges. We hired Josh for a family law case to try to help 2 small children in our family who are being abused. Now I wish I'd sold all my belongings and paid for a proper attorney because clearly, you get what you pay for in this overpriced legal system.
Josh did NOTHING. No research, he didn't send out a single subpoena for the witnesses. Court was on a Monday and he filed for a continuance on Thursday

He provides amazing service, and offers something most can't. The bill isn't hourly it's based off of what you want accomplished. I paid a flat fee, one not based off of hours but off a goal. Joshua is a different kind of lawyer. I paid a lawyer 8 grand to accomplish nothing and lost the case. I paid Joshua a fraction of that and he delivered where so many couldn't.

I am very happy I was referred to this attorney through a friend. Usually, I hate having to communicate with an attorney, but Josh is very friendly and never makes me feel uncomfortable or like I'm an inconvenience when I have questions to ask.
