Thank you HaShem that we found this place to be able to consume quality food. and also for the warm welcome from the employees and the administration. Thanks to Lenny for receiving us in such a special way! . An excellent experience in all aspects. a place where you feel at home, thanks to the Jewish community for allowing non-Jews to enjoy Kosher foods that for health reasons we resorted to doing some shopping.

I am really shocked that I had not written any review of this market before. Had I written one in a timely fashion, it would have been a 5-star review. The deli guys, Mary and the other friendly cashiers, tge owner, David, are all polite and helpful. The limited selection of foods just happens to be some of my favorite stuff!

I had the displeasure to encounter tge manager, Alfredo, on Sunday. I walked in about 3 minutes before they were open but the doors were open. Alfredo is not a polite person. He seeks to be demeaning. He is arrogant and purposely unkind. This is not good. I got the

People go here for the meat, but I don't eat much meat, so I don't go here much, and the parking is bad on busy days.

I have been shopping at Western Kosher for over 15 years. Not once have I been disappointed with the selection of quality or food. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. when I'm looking for something specific the staff always checks in the back just in case. Western Kosher has been my favorite supermarket since moving to Los Angeles, don't miss out!

Great to stop by if you need to pick up a bite and have it on the go. The deli counter has a lot to choose from and if you are not interested in that there is always the sushi corner or salads and sandwiches. For such a small space Western Kosher has a VERY large selection in EVERY department. I especially like their selection of different cut meats. The workers there are helpful in letting you know how to cook the meat correctly. All the staff is kind and helpful.

Western kosher has the best cuts of meat, really friendly staff, and a reliable delivery system. Unlike other kosher markets that feel more like a wrestling match as you go through the aisles, Western Kosher is calm and peaceful. They have a great selection of international, high-end, and allergy friendly fare.

My go to market for all my Kosher needs. They have everything and the staff always super helpful. The cashiers are lovely and always happy to see me. The meat department sometimes could be a bit slow in getting my order out but that because they are always busy. I am never disappointed with their quality and David (the super tall David) is great and easy to work with.

Dovid, the owner, is a pleasure and all of the people who work here are pleasant and helpful. Maria at the check out is so friendly and always asks about my family. There are people who have worked here for over 20 years and remember my kids from the time they were born.

A great variety of kosher items and always fresh fruits and vegetables.
Their take out abs sushi are also amazing!

Organic grass fed kosher beef....and even frozen Atlantic cod without breading! Love Western Kosher!

My goodness. Western is seriously challenging the stigma around kosher markets. The quality of their meats and fish are unparalleled. Their customer service puts other kosher markets to shame. It's our only source of gourmet groceries in the kosher Los Angeles world!

I'm sad to report that Western Kosher has not been following guidelines vis-à-vis safe practices for COVID-19. I've heard it several times from several employees for a very long time now, but I can't stay silent anymore. One of the managers who is anti-vaccine, and has been spouting nonsense about chips, and Bill Gates, and warning other employees who are vaccinated or who are trying to get vaccinated that they are all doomed if they get vaccinated, has now started to show up to work without a mask. The owner is aware, and does nothing. As such, he is not in accordance with best

This store is great. I love that non-Jews are as welcome as Jews here. Kosher means quality, clean food for everyone and Western Kosher prides themselves on that standard. If you live mid-city, you must make this your mainstay for grocery shopping.

Outside of the traffic, Western Kosher Market is a great place for all of your kosher food needs. It's a small store but they have everything from herring, sausages, salads, sauces, all kinds of meats and much more. I'll be back soon.

Very busy. Many prepared apps, veggie and salad dishes, and main meals. Fresh meat available. Dairy case as well. Nice specials on the fresh produce.

They don't comply with Covid restrictions, this is a very dangerous place to shop. The vendor try to get me to contact them directly a day after this review. This are the facts: there is no one outside the store controlling the number of people that go into the store therefore this very tight store is impossible to navigate safely as there is no way to maintain a 6 foot distance form anyone. The registers don't have any sort of markers (as the stores do) to get people to maintain distance. the people at the register do not wear gloves or clean surfaces between customers so if some one is infected

I love this grocery store because they are open earlier than others. They have a great selection of their goods, fresh produce, and meats. Their prices also were very more affordable compared to others that I went to before. The staff is nice too and I find it relaxing doing my groceries here compared to other grocery stores. Highly recommended!

They actually deserve 10 stars, but the most I can give them here is 5. Very fresh and delicious meats. Not sure what they are feeding the animals; the taste of the meat is absolutely fantastic. It's not like other meats you get elsewhere. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you need help finding something just ask. Wide selection of sausages. Highly recommended.

Great customer service!!! love to shop there !! Everything is fresh tasty and delicious!! And the most important is that is Glat kosher!!! I needed an item last time I shoped there , and as soon as I I came in today the guy that I asked from last time remembered !!! and he came to me and gave me the item ! That is unbelievable ,I'm sure he has so many customer all day ,and he remembered that small item that I asked him last time....it was coffee vanilla flavor. ...yami !!!
