Very expensive to shop for produce and general grocery items but love their bakery and meat department. If I could give meat department a 5 star I would cause they are helpful and great but overall this store gets a three cause it's only worth shopping at those two departments, especially when you are on a tight budget.

I like this store because it's super convenient since I'm around here a lot because of work. I'm giving it 3 stars for convenience. Prices are actually very high. If you are looking to save money or on a budget I would not recommend this place, things are actually 2 to 3 times what they are worth in other grocery stores. I would say the produce is the only thing that you normally find at good price. They always have sales on the produce.

I have been a fairly frequent customer at this market for a number of years. I used to enjoy their cut fruit and burritos and tacos at the kitchen counter. The prices used to be very reasonable but recently seem to have shot up disproportionally. That's okay. I put it down to inflation and other factors.
I doubt I will go there again. Because:
Today I dropped in and bought a carni asada burrito for I believe 8 bucks. Also two chicken empanadas for 2 dollars each. Here's the deal. I didn't mind the price until I ate the food. A burrito is not supposed to be full of fat and gristle

Stopped through this grocery store recently when I needed to grab a couple things after I had finished a hike in the area.
I grabbed some strawberries that were on sale but when I got home, most of them were moldy. Was kind of a bummer.
What I loved here, though, and wound up coming back for a week later was their housemade tortilla chips and salsa they sell near the deli section. Was a big fan.
They have your typical Mexican grocery store selections and prices are reasonable. I'm sure I'll be back again when I have another craving for their chips and salsa.

It's a super amazing grocery store for your general needs, with an emphasis on a wide selection of Latin American products all the way from Argentina to Mexico. Fresh produce and cut to order meats. Great spirits, wine and beer selection as well as delicious food to go, all at reasonable prices for the quality.

Hadn't been here in about five years (turns out this a great place to find pork neck bones if you're DIYing your own ramen stock), but Baja Ranch has been really reliable for groceries during Coronavirus! We've been able to find lots of fresh produce, water (of the still and bubbly variety), tortillas, beer (very important), and soap here. Also had a good amount of snacky stuff, canned goods, and eggs which we weren't in the market for, but nice to know they're around.
Like almost all grocery stores in LA, they've been closing early at 8 pm to take more time to restock

This is one of the most dirty markets I have been to. It is the latino GHETTO type.
The manager and upper management located in Arcadia also don't care about the store's customers. The restrooms are in complete busted condition and the problem is that they are always like that. I have gone to this market many times and the restrooms are ALWAYS not working.
There is no toilet seat, no toilet paper, no soap to wash your hands. It is disgusting and no market should be allow to operate like this in United States. It is completely indecent for a customer not to be able to go to a

A family favorite! Nice crew staff members! My grandmother loves the meat dept. especially how they can cater to your liking. Great homemade salsa's to go or Guacamole. Lots of fresh produce, and that is usually why, I drop in. To grab Grandma some final details. That we missed or ran out. I am usually the scout that makes a fast run for canned Hominy or fresh pan dulce. Love the prepacked fruit. Prices are reasonable. Parking is easy and in the front of the store. Really easy to find.

I went in today to get the "Home made guacamole".
The color was off on this thing, when I got home, opened it and everything was off on this guacamole, it had a funny smell to add to the funny color, when I tasted it it did not taste like avocado, probably some vegetable substitute since avocados are expensive right now, it is mote of a creamy vegetable puree. Do not buy the fresh guacamole.

I'm not one to write bad reviews but I'd really hate to see somebody burn $200 like I did. The people there are very nice and the place is very organized and very clean however the only good original food that came out of that store was the Coronus. The habaneros Salsa was awful and that was after I was able to find one that was package after April. A lot of the food was expired and the ceviche smelled harmful...
I never saw any management and barely any person now caring for the food product. The refrigeration seemed inadequate as the cheese was warm and I'm going to stop now

These people have some of the worst quality food. I go there for an occasional quick shop because they have really great prices.
I've witnesses some bad experiences there like the workers talking spanish in front of and about a client that doesnt speak spanish, two male workers staring at and talking about a client's butt, among other....
They need to step it up.
I guess it "normal" due to the place theyre at and people they want to attract but its terribly unprofessional

I LOVE King Ranch Market in Pasadena. There is so much to love about it, I hope that I can do it justice. *crossing fingers*
On the northeast corner of Los Robles and Orange Grove, it is in a shared lot with fast food Mexican and Chinese, a tiny drug store and a pretty happening donut shop. Fill up your water bottles and spare the plastics pollution for twenty five cents a gallon.
I wouldn't have survived my move to Pasadena without this market. The manicured lawns and mammoth houses that surround me are pretty. They do not substitute the smell of a Panaderia on a Sunday morning.
