Founder, Jessica Rae Buck, has been a professional spray tan artist for 8+ years. She owns a salon in Orange County, CA, and has team of mobile spray tan artists in Austin, TX and Georgetown, TX. Most recently, she came out with her own self tanning product line because she wasn't happy with anything that was on the market.
The process is fairly simple. A thin mist is sprayed onto the desired areas of skin, and the skin turns a natural-looking shade of tan. The process works because of Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is actually colorless, but it interacts with the amino acids that naturally occur in skin cells.
Our solution is organic based, eco-certified, gluten free, paraben free, cruelty free, sulfate free, non-comedogenic, GMO free, nut-allergen free and 100% vegan.It is infused with aloe vera, green tea, fruit extracts and has natural enzymes that repair and moisturize the skin. We have over 6+ years of experience in the spray tan industry, having sprayed 2,000+ clients.

I received a spray tan from Samantha last night & just wanted to let the business know what an excellent job she did. She talked to me about the event I was attending & helped advise me on how dark we should go. I wanted to go darker & I'm so glad this morning that she advised against it because my color is perfect! Not only that, I had sort of an embarrassing situation & became extremely light headed toward the end of my appointment. She was so kind & sweetly stood there while I squatted awkwardly, hoping not to pass out. *face palm* Anyway, she did a wonderful job but

I’ve been coming to Sunless Rae for my go to tanning needs! When I can’t get in I use their tanning mousse which is amazing too! I have a wedding coming up and came in to test my color (even though I’ve been sprayed before) and Samantha helped me. She is absolutely amazing, so helpful and discussed her experience with brides! She is great as well as all the staff here! Jess, you’ve done such a great job with Sunless Rae! I was there when you started and will continue being a patron of your business!

Let me start off by saying I feel like a bronzed goddess. I have not tanned in over 6 years. I was really nervous on finding a place that would do amazing. I am so grateful I found Sunless Rae. I would absolutely recommend getting your spray tan from KiKi Yett! She makes you feel SO comfortable!! From start to finish the whole experience was amazing.

I've had 4 spray tans with Samantha Tryon this past year. With so many wedding festivities planned I wanted that fresh glow She knows exactly what tone to use anywhere from bridal fun stuff, to vegas weekends. Highly recommended, actually have sent people after my very first experience with her. She makes you feel so comfortable and not insecure at all while you're at your most vulnerable! Thank you Sam!!! Never looked fake or orange at all. Just that touch of color you never knew you needed.

Sunless Rae, you are my sunshine!! I had my first session with Samantha, today. I am in love with my color!! I haven't had a spray tan in years, for the fear of it turning orange. Before my visit, I spoke with Jessica. I expressed my concern and she assured me that times have changed. When I arrived, Samantha greeted me with a smile. I explained how I haven't had a spray tan in years, because the end result was an orange glow. I noticed Samantha's color was golden brown, and that's exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend coming to Sunless Rae tanning in Brea! I've had Kiki do my tan each time I've come and she is just great. Not only does Kiki do great work, she is super sweet & makes you feel totally comfortable. I've found my new tanning salon for all of my future events! Very happy with the results!

Absolutely baffled at the unprofessional demeanor of the staff here. I was really hoping to have this service as an ongoing experience! However, after the confrontational phone call, I will not be returning. Customer service is definitely not this businesses first priority. I had to cancel due to flu like symptoms and this lady was un sympathetic and was willing to work with me even to reschedule.

Highly recommend and I plan to return. Kiki did my spray tan last week and it still looks great. She was very professional, as it can be a little weird standing there naked while a stranger paints your imperfections. The tan came out beautiful and even. At first I was worried because it looked streaky but it was still setting so I'd suggest doing it at least 1 1/2 days before your event. Thanks for the great work, Kiki!

I’m not sure why it has taken me so long to leave a review but Sunless Rae is an absolutely amazing business and I would recommend to anyone who is looking to get a spray tan! I have been going to Sunless Rae for years and lately I have been going on a bi weekly basis. I used to get my spray tans done by Jessica before she moved to TX but now I get them done by Kiki and they are both amazing and super professional. They are also super flexible when it comes to scheduling so overall, if you are looking to get a spray tan or want to try it out, I would schedule an appointment ASAP.

Love Sunless Rae! This is the best shop I gone to by far. The staff is always so welcoming and they make you feel comfortable as well. My spray tans are always spot on. The color is so natural never orange. And it last for a good two weeks sometimes longer when I am using their body wash they offer! They will always be my go to spot!

It was my first time at Sunless Rae. I was very impressed by this hidden gem in my city. Kiki was incredible. I highly recommend Kiki. This is not my first spray tan. Yet it was a different experience. It felt inviting and welcoming. I felt completely comfortable. Odd for me to say since it's during COVID and Kiki is practically a stranger. She has a gift for helping you relax by simply being herself. I plan to be a repeat customer and support our local small business.

Best spray tan I've EVER had!!! I was lucky enough to catch one of Kiki's training posts, so I got to take advantage of a free spray tan so another girl could train. I figured well at least it's free... it's honestly the best color I've ever gotten out of a spray tan, and it looks like a REAL tan! It was a huge mood booster coming out of this lock down thing!! They made it really comfortable considering I was standing there in my bday suit. She made sure I was happy with everything and then puts this shimmery drying powder all over you to set the tan and help reduce transfer

I can't believe I haven't wrote a review for Sunless Rae yet!! I don't have very much experience with spray tans. I have actually never been to get a spray tan with anyone else besides Sunless Rae and don't see a reason why I would ever go to anyone else anyways. I have driven all the way from Huntington Beach to all the different studios Sunless Rae has had in the past. However, their now new permanent location in Brea is beyond adorable, clean and comfortable! I am so happy they found a permanent home! I don't even mind how far it is from me, the tan is worth it!
