Called to get a ride from the airport at 8PM. Told brusquely “we won’t do it, we’re too busy.” Click.
I get that there’s (probably?) a shortage of workers, etc. But when your economy depends on tourism…..

Dispatch does not know rates and fares. Was told ptown bikes to the ferry with a stop would be $8 per person plus $2 per minute for the extra stop. Was charged $7 to the ptown inn and $8 to the ferry per person. Be wary about booking this company.

Our group of six needed car service to various points on the Cape for a wedding on a very busy summer weekend so we reached out to Erica at Cape Cab. From the beginning Erica was easy to contact regarding our itinerary with times of pick up and drop off at our various destinations. Her crew of drivers, Kyla, Tracy and Paul were patient, knowledgeable, easy going and extremely entertaining. They made our weekend stress free and seamless.
Thank you, Erica, and crew!

I actually waited a couple of days before I posted this and could easily have just let this go. But that really would not be fair to either other prospective passengers or Cape Cab.

I called early Thursday morning to book a cab for 1:20 PM. I had a 2 o'clock flight scheduled and I knew from 35 years of experience that a 1:20 pick up was more than enough time to make the flight. Suffice it to say that the cab finally showed up at 1:49. I called repeatedly to get updates and was told that the driver was on the way and would be there in just a few minutes. It's impossible to know whether

Lorraine came and got me to bring me to the bank downtown, so quick, so friendly, even though clearly it's crazy busy in town. I will only use them from now on! Excellent service!

This is not a review from a passenger standpoint but from a fellow motorist today while driving on route three in Braintree was passed by Cape cab number 116 who is weaving in and out of traffic possibly heading to Logan Airport to pick someone up however the driving is very reckless in with not feel comfortable riding with this company as a passenger.

I've been going to Provincetown for years now and have always enjoyed the experience with Cape Cab. I'm reading through these other reviews and it's safe to say and to understand that Provincetown operates differently than many other places in the world and sometimes the planets don't align as we think they should. In my experience as a professional, we take the good with the bad. Cape Cab is a good company with some great drivers.

Emailed to ask for a quote, which I never received. Made a reservation anyhow due to time constraints. Charged my son $20 for a 2.5 mile ride!!! The driver never told him how much the fare was, just told my son the $20 bill he had in his hand would be enough! I'm reporting them to the police department and the Better Business Bureau!!! Theives!!!

I just took a cab less than one mile from our home, with my wife, and it cost $14. The car and driver were fine but $14 DOLLARS to drive under a mile?! Holy Christ almighty. Mea culpa for not asking prior to jumping in the cab.

Been to NYC lately? A $14 cab ride will get you from Union Square (14th street) to Times Square (42nd street). Thankfully just found out I can use my Uber account here...

Never again. Wow. Uber would've been HALF that price (with a tip).

I would give them a zero! Terrible Terrible Terrible Terrible!! Overpriced and driver claims he could only take cash then had no change for us. Ride was $4 more. They need to remove cape from the name as they don't represent what the cape is about.

Awful company, missed our appointment by 30 minutes, then drove to the wrong address to pick us up. Thankfully, a local saw us waiting gave us a ride so we were able to make it to our friend’s wedding. Strongly do NOT recommend. Use a Lyft instead—

I called to get a cab to Providence Airport - I was quoted $81. He picked us up and took us to Provincetown Airport!! No, no, no! He said most people mean Provincetown, but I SAID Providence!

He said, we don't go there, yet on his sheet, Providence was written as an option. He told us, we could take a small plane to Providence, but they don't fly to Providence. He told us we could get a one-way rental car from the Provincetown Airport, yet the rental car place closes on Labor Day.

And after literally dumping us at the Provincetown Airport filling us full of lies about our options

Do not use this company. They are defending the racist and predatory behavior of their driver, Phil, towards an 11 year old girl and her mother. I witnessed him taunting and harassing my friend's 11 year old girl. He has called her and her mother "trash" and the n-word in public, and the company is defending his behavior.

Take an uber. One dealing with this company over a driver who used racially derogatory language toward my daughter and I. Company defended him and chastised me. Then told me he wasn't working in a night he harassed us in the street when the police, the harbor master and a witness clearly saw him. You hire someone who would harass a child then defend and lie for them? Disgraceful!

I can't say enough good things about Cape Cab. We made a reservation for a group of 7 for a Saturday night. Jay, the driver was on-time and was very friendly. We arrived at our destination quickly and safely. We made an arrangement for the return trip, Jay confirmed and was there waiting for us when we were ready to be picked up.

The service was excellent, Jay the driver was friendly, and I would definitely use them again.

The one star is only because our driver was so nice. I'm appalled that Cape Cab would charge $33 (plus gratuity) for a ride less than one mile. Uber isn't putting you out of business. You are putting yourselves out of business. Someone could make a killing in this area with Lyft and Uber when customers are charged $7 from uber and almost $40 from Crap Cab.

Can't say that I understand the bad experiences of the others who used Cape Cab.

During a one-week vacation in Provincetown, we used them four times. The first time, the flat rate of $7/person fare did seem outrageous, especially as someone from Boston for whom a ride of the typical distance to or from town might cost a total of about $6 (before tip). However, I am mindful that they make a LOT of their money during the summer season, and are probably making numerous short runs and trips of differing complexity. There is no meter (at least in Provincetown), because they charge a flat rate

Quite a bad experience, partly related to my personal expectation and other factors, but mostly the service itself.

***This is NOT a private taxi service!! It is a shared ride service.

I called for pickup at Ptown Inn going to the Ferry. I allowed 40-45 minutes knowing the distance and the trip time on foot I had made several times before.
The dispatcher did not ask me any name and did not give me a price quote, but said the driver would arrive in 6-7 minutes. The hotel desk clerk said it's "about $7." Fair enough.

The driver arrived almost 15 minutes late and had to load 3
