Would not recommend A Way To Go Travel in Greensboro. After the tickets were purchased we could never get Beth to call us back. Our flights were changed and we were only given notice by email. Our flight was delayed and then couldn't meet connecting flight. We had to drive to Charlotte airport or wait until the next day to fly. No answer to our call for assistance and Beth did not return our call for the 2nd time. Our room was not what was she promised to us. We were promised a view of the Vegas Strip but she booked us a view of a building and a brick wall. We had to pay more to get any

I wish I would have read their Yelp reviews before using this company for my trip. All the reviews sum up my experience. Chuck was very friendly and booked my trip quickly. After that, I had to follow up on everything. I had another friend that joined us on our trip. She had to reach out multiple times whenever she needed something done. Chuck would say he would do something and then nothing would be done. Our flight time was changed and moved up 1.5 hours. There was no notification of the change. Thankfully we noticed it otherwise we would have missed our flight. I had to request my travel documents

It started out great with an immediate response from my online inquiry. I emailed with Chuck a couple of times about a trip to Paris that we're planning. After sending me a list of their preferred hotels (without any pricing information), I never heard from him again. He kept saying he'd get some options to me asap, but I had to follow up a few times before I finally gave up. Super disappointing, as he was prompt and extremely friendly during our initial conversation. Based on my initial interaction, this place would have received a great review. No review star since nothing done for me. I went to the Burlington office the morning of of 8/28. Beth said she would put together suggestions for me since they didn't deal with Bed and Breakfast locations. We went over various outings in which I was interested . She told me she would send information that afternoon or evening. She has my email and phone. I have received nothing yet. Have taken care if it myself. Done.

Horrible Experience in every way! They are not who they say they are! Just when you get an agent who you like and want to work with they move them or fire them!
They can not keep there employees and the turn over is bad!
They don't return calls when you have a question they say your agent is not here she is in another office and this is her phone number or you can drive to another town to see her.
When You call that number you get a voicemail and she never returns your call. My advice book your travel with someone who doesn't charge fees and will return your call!

I first met with Chuck and he was over the top friendly and extremely responsive....before we booked. After my husband and I booked our honeymoon to Los Cabos, we were never able to get him to call us back again. Right before Thanksgiving of last year, I met with a travel agent. She was all excited to put together my trip for me. Great! We recently used this agency for our anniversary trip to Mexico. Right from the start Chuck Joyce was very helpful in answering our questions and assisting us in booking our trip. Chuck did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We reached out to Chuck for help planning a trip with international travel and he said he would help us out! Great! We were excited! So first he needed all our birth dates and passport info. Sent. 10 days later, still nothing from Chuck about flight options. So we said "hey, any flight options?" and his response was that he would "RE-SEND" when he got back to the office AS IF HE HAD ALREADY SENT US THEM (He had not). and guess what?! I recently asked Action travel to make arrangements for my business trip to Nantucket. It went seamlessly and I was happy with the itinerary.
Unfortunately my brother died at the time of my trip and all the plans had to be reworked. Action Travel handled it all included getting the airline to waive fees and dealing with a nasty innkeeper who would not refund my deposit because I couldn't give 15 days notice.
Thank you, thank you ,thank you! It was so wonderful to know during my time of grief I didn't have to think of a thing about this trip. Soon I am off to Nantucket thanks to Action Travel

My husband and I and another couple just returned from the best vacation ever arranged by Melinda Fargis at Action Travel, inc. in Burlington, NC. She made several suggestions of places to go and after consulting with us as to our ideas, she felt the one we went to was a good fit and was it ever! It was the most relaxing and best vacation ever to an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. We'll go again. Great work, Melinda!

Absolutely horrible. We did all of the work to find and plan our trip - all Chuck Joyce did was collect a commission and obstruct any other planning that we needed to complete. I strongly caution you not to use this agent unless you want to pay a commission for someone to make your vacation planning more difficult.

Apparently Yelp decided to can my first review because they didn't like what I wrote. I went into A Way To Go Travel a few years ago to book a vacation and was greeted by Shane. Over the course of booking the vacation over several visits, Shane was awesome. He was available, helpful, and had an awesome personality! Chuck, the owner was downright rude. He treated my wife and I like total crap.

Action Travel did a great job helping us to plan our honeymoon to multiple countries in Europe. They worked with us to create our own itinerary, were extremely prompt and responsive, and very flexible. Other companies we had tried to work with only wanted to sell us a package, but Action Travel found us hotels that matched our needs, airfare, trains, and shuttles and even helped us get tickets to places we would like. One of the best parts was the price turned out to be almost exactly what we were looking at when we tried to create this on our own!

We booked our honeymoon with A Way to Go Travel to travel May 31st (Memorial Day) 2010 - June 6th 2010 to Maya Riveria staying at Secrets Maroma.
