Scott Fondren has been in the embroidery business for over 25 years and shows no signs of stopping. A Texas native originally from Lake Jackson, Fondren moved to Austin in 1992 and began his career in embroidery the following year. After working in other embroidery shops for about 10 years, Fondren started his own embroidery shop, A-List Embroidery, in July of 2004.

Services
We are going to ask you lots of questions about the size of the logo/design, where it will be placed on the garment, if you need us to order hats or shirts, what color is the logo/design and the garment, how many items, when do you need these done by, do the items need to be shipped out, and what's your budget.
At A-List we embroider common items like shirts, caps, and jackets but we also are able to handle challenging items like bags, backpacks, shoes, slippers, pants, socks, aprons, and most items you throw at us. We have the following in-house capabilities: graphic design/art, digitizing, product sourcing, merchandise consulting, finishing, and fulfillment.
We will gladly answer any and all questions you throw at us. We always provide free quotes and merchandise consultation for orders that meet our minimum requirements: 24 pieces or $200.00. Awesome product, great service and overall great experience. Highly recommend A-List for your embroidery needs. My order was small (8 jackets), so it would have been easy for it to be low priority in the holiday shuffle of mega orders (100s or even 1000s of pieces). Not the case! I just want to start off by saying a Huge Thank You to the staff at A-List Embroidery for a job well done on my hats it was so hard to find a place that could do hand knitted hats and they were able to access the challenges and deliver, Above my Expectations!!!!! My hats were everything I imagined and more the Embroidery was absolutely beautiful 😍. I spoke with a nice gentleman by the name of Chris and he was very nice, patient, thorough. Horribly rude front desk associate. She rolled her eyes numerous times, assumed my credit card was declined when there was no reason for the assumption. I was also told my order would be processed as the items came in, she said that wouldn't happen. Even after I had already spoken to an associate who said this was fine. I'm going to have them finish the work, but definitely won't be coming back or promoting their work.

I found A List on yelp and decided to give them a try for some jackets and shirts we wanted embroidered with our company logos, and I am so glad I did! The entire team at A List was easy to work with, they confirmed everything I wanted and made it a snap to get everything done. I'm a small business owner and was interested in getting some hats and shirts embroidered to make my staff look sharp. It was my first time to get embroidery done, so I researched almost every shop in town. Scott was professional, quick to reply, and a offered a great price point. Let me get this out of the way... I highly recommend A-List for anything you need embroidered. Now that I've said that, let's get on to the review.
I was just looking up random embroidery places in Austin that (hopefully) wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. As I was checking out the various shops and their samples, I got a little bummed thinking I wasn't going to be able to find a place to match the quality of the blank Under Armour hats I was planning on purchasing. Each shop had little frays in their embroidery, or the thread didn't match up right, or just little inconsistencies

A-List Embroidery is a top notch shop for all of your embroidery needs. The owner, Scott Fondren is a relaxed and very motivated guy, who out does the competition. The costs for set up and each item stitched was very reasonable. Communication was excellent, via email and phone, as he exceeded the deadline that I needed.
