This place is like every other hipster spot in New England, great food and poor service. Employees probably aren't payed enough to care, which reflects their performance.
And like, seriously; get some air conditioning, your workers look miserable in there.
My croissant wasn't warmed like I asked, and my latte was mediocre at best.
I heard good things about this spot, unfortunately I was disappointed. Too bad.

Had one sip of a cafe mocha and that was all it took.
It was not overly sweet but oh it was chocolaty. It wasn't Mr.Tough Guy oh yeah 100% cacao no sugar bitter as hell I love my coffee black type chocolaty.
Instead it was more like oh wow it's like they said screw it and added Swiss Miss to my coffee and I'm going to pretend I don't absolutely love Swiss Miss but this is a real coffee shop so I know it's not type chocolaty. I am also surprised chocolaty is a real word.
Anyways, I always get cafe mochas when I get coffee so I'll admit I get around with this drink

Cute little cafe! Tons of options for breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and full espresso bar as well. Love the multiple nondairy options, i ended up getting a soy cappuccino and an everything bagel with avocado and tomato. Yummy + vegan! There's a ton of seating indoor and outdoor too, which makes it a great spot to sit and relax for a bit. :)

The woodstar cafe is unfortunately resting a bit on its laurels from years ago. The food and coffee are comprable with other cafes but the service has been lacking during the pandemic. More than once I was sold food and coffee right at closing and was not advised. They cleared out and locked up their outdoor tables and sent me on my way promptly after I got my food and drink. Comprable bread can be found across the street for a lesser price. Iconica Social Club now offers competition also across the street. Hopefully woodstar will pick up this game out of necessity

Very cute! Not a lot of seating but many, many delicious gluten-free options and great ambience. Street parking right out front if you're lucky. Lot across the way if construction ever wraps up. Service has sometimes been super friendly and other times a little snobby - think California hipster boutique.

This place was my favorite cafe for years. I especially loved their chai, which was the best in town, along with their cookies and eclairs. I recently moved back to NoHo after having been away for five years, and have found that their chai has completely changed. It's now too spicy for me and I cannot drink it. Their cookies and eclairs were just as I remember, but without the chai, I won't be frequenting here as often as I'd hoped. It's been a week since I went, but I still haven't been able to find a place around town that doesn't make their chai too spicy for me

This is one of my favorite bakeries, ever. They have gluten free and vegan options, Paleo options, bagels and sandwiches, and fresh baked bread. And everything is downright delicious, I have yet to try something there I don't like. It used to be a 13-hour drive away, now it's just an hour drive -- still to far for regular visits, so whenever we go I make sure to stock up. The raspberry chocolate cupcakes (gluten free and vegan) are by far my favorite thing here 💜

This place has continued to be one of my favs during the pandemic. It's ridiculously easy to order food online and to pick up your order. And their menu offers items of all levels of cost (and the option to choose half salad/sandwich) so that it's accessible no matter what's in my wallet.
Things I recommend:
-the grilled cheese (add in some tomatoes or pesto)
-the Berkshire sandwich
-the Farmstead Salad (omg)
-the peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie. Huge and so freaking tasty.
Their website is easy to navigate and their employees are so friendly every time I go to pick up

Small coffee shop with delicious drinks, pastries, and food options! They have a wide array of drink options, and I enjoyed one of their vanilla lattes as well as a regular coffee (extra caffeinated...wohoo!). I also tried a few of their baked goods (all of which were fantastic)
Although they have both indoor and outdoor seating the space is pretty small, so you might have to get lucky to find a seat. I came during COVID however, so I am not 100% sure.
Their staff was very friendly as well

I only had a few minutes to stop in and study and there was a long line, so I was worried... but I was able to get my dirty chai and peanut butter choco cookie from the friendly staff and sit down at an open table within five minutes! It seems like they have the right amount of people working there to handle busy mornings, and the atmosphere is so comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

I go to the Woodstar Café on occasions where I am in this area looking for a coffee and snack. They have one of the most extensive gluten-free menus in Northampton. They have great desserts and sandwiches, including egg sandwiches, that can be made on gluten-free bread. Although I think paying over four dollars for an average-sized non-GF eclair is a bit much, it is a tasty snack. (No, not as good as Mrs. Murphys or the Big E!) They also offer some unique salads that are filling as well.
So, besides my love of gluten-free treats, I enjoy coming here because there's always an eclectic group
