Love working with Dawson and James because I know when I walk in I’m leaving with the perfect shoe. I feel comfortable knowing I’m getting my money’s worth with them and it never enters my mind to even ask the cost. The last pair I bought I used for four years and only changed them at my running coach encouragement. I really enjoy working with them because they both have shown they’re knowledgeable, professional and credible.

On the recommendation of several “neighbors” on NextDoor, I was very pleased with my fitting and purchase experience at Fleet Feet in Menlo Park. The foot scan process was explained to me, results clearly interpreted, and an assessment of my walking style completed before three shoe styles were recommended. After eliminating one style based on comfort, the sales associate had me put one of each shoe on before walking to determine which was a better fit. What a great idea!

Jim Gothers at the store in Menlo Park has incredible expertise in the sport of running, running shoes, preventing and managing injuries, etc. I always have a terrific experience when I go the store because Jim and team really take the time to listen to your concerns and needs, and spend the time with you to find the right shoe or other product. This store is a gem and genuinely love going there. My running friends and I even make dates to go together because it's such a great experience. Jim is a great presence in our community and is worth his weight in gold.

I always find the service to be helpful. This last visit I was looking to replace my running shoes and Sofia did a great job of conducting my foot analysis (on the machine) and bringing out several shoes that were a fit for my feet. She runs in Hokas and ended up influencing my decision to try them out (my dad has been trying to do it for years!) Thanks, Sofia!

The associate that worked with my boys was so patient and helpful. We were able to walk out of the store with new shoes on one boy and shoes on order for the other. I don’t even think she got commission for the pair on order…there wasn’t anything in the system in the color and size my son wanted/needed, so she looked on Brooks.com and they had one pair left. She helped me order it directly from their site so we could finally have shoes that fit my son correctly in the color he wanted. I’m so grateful. We will continue to come to Fleet Feet!!

Sofia Melani was amazing! I went in having no idea about what I needed. I just knew I needed some shoes for working out and walking/running. She took the time and energy to scan my feet for appropriate shoe style and proceeded to explain the different shoe types and their purposes to me. I had hundreds of questions and she patiently answered each one very clearly and concisely. I will definitely be going back. Everyone should have the pleasant experience of shopping with Sofia!

Never saw myself writing a review for a running store, and I'm still not a runner, but my husband and I have both had such great experiences at FF that I have to share. After years of getting shoes from Zappos mainly based on looks and price, I talked my husband into going for a proper fitting as he's been getting a little more active recently and it seems important to have good support. I went for my own fitting a few weeks later. The folks who helped us could not have been nicer. No judgement whatsoever about us not exactly being athletic. Part of the fitting is using some very fancy

I dived into some research and decided to book a fit appointment at Fleet Feet so that I could really get a pair that was suited for my size, shape, and width over just a brand name.
The measuring process was

I am very pleased to see that the staff and all customers have been following all guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy shopping experience so that I have the ability to shop inside the store and browse all they have to offer. I also love that the staff is always friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you're in the "right" shoe for you and not just trying to make a sale. Received a used, dirty and torn pair of shoes which were supposed to be new. We are in Texas but the shoes shipped from the Louisville location.
We reported the issue immediately upon opening the box and were told it was going to be next week before we even get an email with a return label.
My son ended up having to go to a store last minute just to have something to wear for his next meet because I have no idea how long it will take to get this resolved.

I could not have been more pleased with my trip to Fleet Feet. I have been running for years, but never stopped in to be properly sized and fitted for running shoes, because I was afraid of how much it would cost. Now that I finally stopped in, I don't know what I was afraid of.
I just want to say, I loved the energy. When I walked in, they were set up for handing out packets for an upcoming race scheduled the next day. I informed them that I was just there to purchase shoes, and I was immediately assisted by a sales rep.

I have a hard time finding shoes that suit all of my specific needs after foot and ankle injuries galore. As a result, my normal shoe shopping experience is overwhelming when trying to decide between aesthetics and function. Having someone who can make specific recommendations based on my feet, running stride, and needs was awesome.
The staff was friendly and shared information about upcoming training programs geared toward some of the upcoming races in town. I'll definitely make a return trip the next time I need a new pair of shoes.

I am passionate about running and the staff at Fleet Feet are also very passionate about running so I enjoy going there to get running shoes and gear. They have the latest version of most popular athletic shoes and clothing. If you have any foot issues, they are helpful in recommending the appropriate shoe for you.
They have treadmill in the store so if you like, you can run or walk on it and they will watch your form to see how you "land" during your foot strikes. The prices are fair and they have sales quite often. Fleet Feet is very involved in the community and have group training

Just bought a new pair of workout shoes and very happy. My feet feel so much better. The sales associate was wonderful. Very friendly. Made me feel very comfortable with my feet (I hate people seeing my feet). She did a 3-D of my feet and helped me understand what I need. If you are looking for workout shoes or other stuff I would suggest using them. The staff was awesome. The only problem I had was parking but I found a space nearby. Again no pressure and I will purchase again.

Also, the idea of spending over $100 on a pair of shoes for sportsing seemed absurd to me as early as last month but spending $300 on a pair of boots to stand about in? Absolutely a wise, considered, adult choice. I do not sports.
