This hotel is older and well worn. However, the location is excellent, staff is friendly and helpful, and it is clean. It doesn't have many amenities, just the basics. The pool is not heated. The views from upper floors on the beach side are great, and it's a quick few blocks walk to the beach and a couple of restaurants. Very relaxing, low-key area. Would only go back if booking through a discount booking site again.

Hotel was disgusting. Smelled like cigarettes, the rooms were not clean… found a smoked cigarette in our bed when we checked in. Stayed for about a half hour and turned in the room key and decided to eat the cost and stay somewhere else. Also the stairwell going to the rooms could easily be accessed by anyone and hotel staff leave at 11pm which didn’t sit right with me for security purposes. Anyone could just walk up to your room and easily bust the door down. Really recommend Hutchinson island plaza hotel, they blew this place out of the water.

I don't know how anyone can give this place more than one star. Maybe people who are accustomed to dives. Room was small and jammed with furniture. Place looks like it needs a major overhaul. No umbrellas by pool, beach which is a short walk across the street , looks like a landfill trash all on sand. The pics are a total misrepresentation. Do not fall for the advertising. Cheap price , is exactly what you get in return. Really nothing to do in area also.
