Jennifer Murphy-Connolly has wanted to be a hairdresser since she was 7 years old. She went to hairdressing school right out of high school and has been creating amazing styles ever since. Her passion lead her to become a Senior National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems in 2005 where she has shares her knowledge on stage to hundreds of others as well to small local salons in the New England area.
We offer a wide variety of top quality services to suit your needs. Our experienced staff will help you determine the best services for your needs and deliver the kind of quality and value you expect from a professional hair salon. We offer and encourage our virtual consultation service for you to meet and communicate with your stylist about what your desires with your hair are.
We believe that the best experience starts with a great consultation. For all new guest, we highly recommend a consultation with a stylist before arriving for your appointment. When booking online you will be promoted to fill out the NEW CLIENT FORM so you can provide us answers to important questions regarding your hair.
Any appointment cancelled within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the service booked. Please reach out to adjust an appointment if need be before the 24 hour timing in order to avoid this fee.
We do provide a complimentary email and text 48 hours before any service to provide ample time to adjust any reservations that are made but it is the client's responsibility to remember their appointment day and time.We also provide a reminder 2 hours before any service. We work very hard from our pre-service consultation to the last strand of hair blown dry to make sure you love your hair and your experience.

Art+Craft Hair Salon wanted to work with a beauty product line that cared about the hairdresser behind the chair as well as the client that goes home with their product. We are a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon. We have similar beliefs, passion for hair and compassion for the planet. Sophia is very friendly and knowledgeable. She makes you feel so comfortable. I like the team effort with the staff. Clean and stylish atmosphere. Also, they encourage you to communicate about how you feel about the results and welcome you to come back if you need to. Very accommodating. So many added touches to make you feel spoiled—warm towels, luxurious shampoos, snacks and great conversations (or just quiet time if you need to zen). Thank you.

Sophia was amazing! I went to the salon with less than perfect highlights (from a different salon). I asked what she thought I should do and she listed off what she thought would be best, but gave me the final decision. My hair is EXACTLY what I wanted, without even knowing what I wanted! I couldn't recommend Sophia & Art and Craft Salon more.

I am new to the Walpole/Norwood area, and decided to try this salon after intense research (Google and IG). First experience today—I loved everything about it. Great vibe and friendly people. There’s more: Sophia, my stylist, took time to get to know me and what I was hoping for, shared her ideas, explained everything, and gave me beautiful cut and color. You don’t have to go into Boston to get great hair. This is my new, favorite place!!

Love Art and Craft! Jen is amazing (as is her team). I moved to Norwood and needed a new salon and stylist, and Jen listened carefully to what I wanted and created an amazing new haircut for me, taking off 12+ inches! I received so many compliments on my hair, and continue to love it! She's also really wonderful about teaching you how to style your hair. She won over a new client for life!

I visited Art and Craft Salon for the first time last week. I researched first because I wanted a place that did bright colors, was reasonabably priced, customers of all ages, and good reviews. In August I did a video consultation with Sophia and then last Thursday after much anticipation I had my appointment. Sophia was fabulous and the friendly salon was a comfortable place to spend a few hours. My hair came out different than I originally expected but we discussed each step and I love the decisions we made. My top of my hair is now a lovely purple at the roots that transitions to bright blue

I love this place. The girls are great and provide a fun atmosphere where the time flies by and you will enjoy yourself. They don’t shy away from a challenge as I have very thick, curly, long hair and they were able to give me exactly what I asked for ( color, balayage, blow dry ) and I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. Have already recommended Art and Craft Salon to friends who have gone and loved it as well. Happy to make this my regular salon.
