Founded in 1999, Alpine Orthopaedics has become one of the top orthopaedic care practices on the Western Slope. We provide a wide range of services, from patient education and injury prevention, to minimally-invasive intervention and surgical repair. Dr. Gloria Beim is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine, which means she has additional training in complex knee, shoulder, joint and sports-related injuries.
Sports medicine refers to the treatment (and prevention) of injuries caused by sports and exercise. In a Valley as full of outdoor enthusiasts as ours, we know how important it is to get you moving again. Dr. Gloria Beim is the most highly credentialed orthopaedic doctor in the Valley. She and her team are committed to providing the same level of care they provide to Olympic athletes, to the residents and visitors of Gunnison Valley.
All X-Rays, CAT scans, MRIs *this includes the disk or films and the written radiologists report*. We will file your claim for you to most insurance companies. We are contracted with Anthem, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, Cofinity, PacifiCare, TRPN, NPPN, Plan Vista, Pinnacol Assurance, Tricare, Medicare and Colorado Medicaid.

Horrible business practice from the office side of things. I called a week before my appointment to confirm they worked with my insurance and was told “I think we do, but it’s the patients responsibility to confirm that.” My insurance dropped the ball as well, but let’s focus on what Alpine did wrong. They saw me with no prior authorization attempts on my insurance, despite having the information a week in advance. They took x-rays despite me offering images taken a week prior from another doctor. They wrapped me back up in a cast and scheduled an OR room for surgery the following week
