Auburn Dental Spa is a comprehensive dental care practice located in Auburn, Alabama. We focus on family and cosmetic dentistry and offer a full range of dental services such as routine cleanings, porcelain veneers, permanent crowns and bridges, same-day teeth whitening, Invisalign, composite fillings and bonding, dental implants, extraction of wisdom teeth, oral cancer screening, and treatment of periodontal disease.
Although I am not originally from Auburn, I got here as soon as I could. Actually, I was born in Jackson, Mississippi and have lived in the Tri-state area all of my life. I received my bachelor's degree in Biology from Millsaps College, where I also met the love of my life, Susie. After being married in Yazoo City, MS, we moved to Birmingham where I attended the UAB School of Dentistry and received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Litkenhous is a certified provider for BOTOX Cosmetic and Juvederm. He can provide a discrete consultation to discuss diminishing or lessening the appearance of the lines on your forehead as well as around your eyes and mouth. The goal of these treatments is to allow you to look naturally refreshed and rejuvenated.
We do wish to be unique by giving each of our patients individualized, relaxing care and treatment. Your appointed time with Dr. Litkenhous is yours exclusively. He never rushes appointments or over-schedules, ensuring your visit with him is a pleasant one. We strive to get patients in as quickly as possible.
We want all of our patients to comfortably afford dental care. Before any dental treatment begins, the patient and/or responsible party will receive a consultation regarding treatment plan and cost. We attempt to keep our fees at a fair level that reflects the quality of care provided in our office.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! Today was my first visit and wow!! I loved being pampered. They invite you to select all the little perks you would like. From coffee, cream, sweetener, water and snacks to the paraffin wax, warm neck wrap and an eye mask (warm or cool, your choice), it was just the most relaxing time I have EVER had at the dentist! Rachel, the hygienist was great!

Great first experience. Needed a quick appointment due to a sudden issue and was able to jump into a cancellation spot the next day.
Had not been to a dentist in many years so I was worried about the initial visit. However, everything was very gentle and went smoothly. Everything was explained very clearly about the further steps I need to take.

A dentist is still a dentist, BUT. Check out the Spa and complimentary before and after care of seeing the dentist. Do yoga. Visit the gift shop. I’ve been going to the wrong dentist my entire life. This place is fantastic. The staff is also friendly and the dentist himself is great. Make an appointment today. Quit putting it off.

Auburn Dental Spa is the best in town. My wife, mother-in-law and myself have been coming here for more than 3 years. The service is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and they are always ready to help.
Recently, I went for a regular cleaning, Stacy did a wonderful job. She was very patient and she answered all my questions. And of course, Dr. Brad is exceptional as always. He is very professional and easy to talk to. So, if you are looking for the best experience, you show go and see them.

Literally everything about this dentist is great. Easy location, clean & comfy reception & treatment rooms and friendly knowledgeable check in. I think my teeth are cleaner than they’ve ever been thanks to my very thorough hygienist. Good music relaxes me while they work. If you have dental phobia of procedures, they are happy to give you meds to relax before & during. If you need a treatment, they check insurance & give a written estimate of your costs at check out. AND you choose a spa treatment while you are in the chair! Paraffin wax hand treatment, 👏🏼!!! Oh, I must compliment Dr. Litkenhaus

Actually, Dr Litkenhous I liked. During my brief dealing with him, as my cleanings are mostly with the hygienist, he was pleasant. I know that going to the dentist should be about the dentist but the atmosphere is equally as important. You should feel safe and respected in a place you are going to solicit a service and that was not accomplished here. His office staff left me feeling that this was not a place that I or my children should want to or needed to be.
